This community is disgusting

People seriously reviewbombed every single dlc... because of a public test build... that they said were subject to change
That's just beyond pathetic
Instead of memeing Mathieu Cote for his Civ comment some people should really take it to heart. Get out of your gaming chair for a bit and touch some grass
You can say a lot about the DbD devs, but one thing is for certain.
They are way better then we as a community deserve

Duuude, this is pathetic
EDIT: And considering that a) no one cares about DLC reviews b) steam has tools to deal w/ review bombings this sheet looks much more disgraceful

People review-bombed all of the DLC? I never even noticed, I knew Skull Merchant got review-bombed but at least I knew where it was coming from, but all DLC? Definitely unnecessary.

"Oopsies, we didnt mean that. Let's revert our balance decisions based on "YOUR feedbacks"" :PPP

It's beyond sad.
Glad there atleast a couple of content creators that aren't afraid to call this out

A couple of those were already negative.
Like Pinheads for example.
4 -
I wasn't saying it was justified.
I was remarking that some of these chapters were already very negatively reviewed prior to the PTB.

I don't really care one way or another.
I don't see it any differently than people bitching on Twitter.
I wasn't really looking for an argument.

No offense man but that's what game developers do, they make their game and if their's something that the community doesn't like they experiment to find a solution.

Atleast the Pinhead one had a solid reason to be negative

Meanwhile I’m just enjoying the game and excited for what’s to come, especially the bloodweb changes which no one is talking about. Just wish the community can have the same mindset. Not saying criticism is bad, but the way people do it is just childish to me.

Funny thing is that it could be argued that the fact that they adjusted some of the changes that people didn't like the most shows the review bombing worked.
Expect to see it more often.
Those who review bombed right now:

BloodWeb, Visual Terror Radius, and the revert nerf of Billy!

I don't know how to delete a post, I say something wrong
The ... Bad review was from 25 march, and not the 6, like all the bad review I was seeing in the review section from steam
My bad

It still worked, though.

Yeah, we could review bombing just so they can "change things based on feedback" lmao

I don't agree with review bombing, but I can definitely see why it happened.

well it worked so expect bhvr to ask for survivors permission before they make any changes in the future

I see no offense in your comment, anyone can have an opinion.
I disagree tho. Look at LoL. Imagine Riot games listening to their community concerning balance. They only take a very reduced amount of Top level players in consideration.
Bhvr simply doesnt have a proper balance team / play testers (which is clearly visible concerning the initial planned nerfs on Billy for example), so they rely on the community, which, again, in my opinion, is a bad idea.
Designed by casuals, for casuals. Still have an MMR system. Makes no sense.

Welcome to the internet.
Steam are prepared for this anyway. It's why they have Recent Reviews and All Reviews.

On one hand, steam reviews are a legitimate way of expressing discontent with the game, so I don't fault people for giving their opinion like this. And if many people give their opinion with steam reviews following the same news, then l won't assume there's any ill intent there, just feedback.
On the other, it's literally about a PTB. Which by definition might not come to live. So a bit dramatic... Give it time to see how the proposed changes evolve and then give your opinion.

Review bombing is a common thing when it comes to the game that has a passionate community. It is not like "this community" is disgusting.
