Skull Merchant's Visual Design is Bad
The weapon, the gadgets, and the particle effects, I can get on board with. The mask and the bling, no problem, she's rich and wants to show it, I get it.
But her actual clothes? Why did she settle for anything short of the best and most snazzy-looking hunting gear money can buy? Heck, she could probably get a more utilitarian, and better-looking, outfit just by buying military surplus gear. Why spend all the time, money and energy to make all the fancy equipment, put on all the shiny bling, and then skimp on the actual outfit?
And it's not like there's a shortage of characters to take inspiration from; any one of Snake's outfits could have fit her perfectly.

My only question is why does she still use duct tape on her equipment if shes a millionaire?

I agree, she should be using sparkly diamond encrusted tape at the very least so it goes with her mask

This is the first time I've seen someone say they "get" the bedazzled gas mask.

Yeah, she looks like some car mechanic.
It's really ugly imo, she has like one good skin, I hope there will be something decent in next rift for her.
