Allow Killers to Lift up Pallets

Before I continue with this discussion I would like to mention that this implementation would have to be balanced in a way and releasing it without change would make the game unbalanced! These are mostly ideas and not a needed change !

Allowing Killers to be able to lift pallets would make it easier to finish chases or just to put them in the injured state

Lifting up the Pallet would allow survivors to reuse the pallet if the killer decides not to make the decision to completely break the pallet

Lifting up Pallets would require only a 1/3 or 1/2 the amount of time it would to break a pallet making killers decide on what would be better for them

The entity would block the pallet between 1-3 seconds so survivors don’t automatically stun the killer once he has lifted the pallet

It takes 2.34 seconds to break a pallet currently. 1/3 is 0.78 and 1/2 is 1.17. You can reduce breaking speed to 1.87 seconds with brutal.

You save 1 to 1.5 seconds in order to have the pallet be usable against you again. I don't really see the point. It would still be better to break the pallet so there's no possibility of the pallet being used again. Besides brutal, Spirit Fury instant breaks pallets upon being stunned. Dissolution can force survivors off of pallet tiles. Blood Favour just blocks pallets.

I think it would break quite a few maps where you just need that time to get to anything else. Especially on killers that need just single hit (think legion or ghostface). I don't like the idea

Yes and I completely understand! I had this idea more for the reason that saving that extra second would allow the killer to reach the survivor before they vault a window or another pallet making it less easier to have a chase with the killer for the entire match!

Absolutely! This change just on it own would completely break the game and in consideration with some killers like weaker and legion to vault pallets it not a necessary change as mention!

Why would you ever want to lift up a pallet so the other side can use it against you, when you can just break it with the same amount of time investment?

It was repeated multiple times already. But the hint is - for the same reason why you sometimes don't break the pallet and go around it (even if it takes you a second). You can possibly deny survivor another loop this way - getting a down (which is more important then a single pallet like almost always).

I thought this out, and i think this would be tricky for balance.

Right now we have 3 options:

    1. Brake the pallete, which waste some time AND reduce our fov since we are loosing control over camera.
    2. Not brake the pallete, save some time but block this path.
    3. Use perks/addons that help us to deal with paletes.

    Having fourth option:

Lift the palete. But this should:

    1. Takes a little less time than braking it with brutal strenght.
    2. Leaves us the control over camera.

    Would gives us another interaction:

Used palets would means nothing if not used properly, but gives another try for other survivors and would be another trap for not aware survivors who would not know (in certain situations) if palete is real or fake.
