Could we test 5 perk killers in next beta?
I think that killers should get fifth perk slot. Right now there's just no space to take things for fun like Mad Grit or Infectious Frigth. I'm not saying it should be implemented right away, cause it may be problematic, but we could test it in open betavand let BHVR decide if the change would be viable.

I guess I wouldn't mind it but I suspect it'd require the perks to be re-balanced.

To make it fair, killer should be able to equip a fifth perk but it has to be a universal one

I think everyone would choose Sloppy...but I still like that trade-off.

Sure; if you delete solo queue from the game, it's already the worst option to play. They should instead focus on testing bots controlling players who quit or exit the game. Every few games, a player will DC or immediately kill themselves on the first hook, which is far more frustrating than making the game even more competitive with SWF.

Actually i think they should do this for both sides.
Killer gets a perk slot that can only have gen defense perks and only gen defense perks can go in this slot (no more stacking gen defense). Then buff every gen defense perk to "on average" add 1.5-2 gens to the game, just differently depending on the perk..
Survivor gets a perk slot for only exhaustion perks.

Fifth slot for universal perks for both killer and survivor is an idea at least worth testing. I think it would revitalize gameplay. Now let's badger devs to do it 😉

You mean Killer and Killer right?
Survivors get 16 meta perks that stack into absolutely busted combinations when a killer needs 8+ hooks.
Killer gets 4.
So this would only apply to killer. Survivor doesn't need an extra 4 perks.

sure. That's the reason why official stats will say 61% kill rate. Because killers are slower then survivor. Killer can't be removed from game. Killer will be on time out on hook. Killer needs to heal etc.
Where are these comments comming from? I can already feel it when playing on killer. On average the games are way easier then on survivor
