Character models losing collision after an extended amount of time being inactive on both sides would be cool.
otherwise, finally controller settings, and graphic settings (such as anti aliasing which has been confirmed/promised back in 2020)

Will just say a lot of those are not quality of life changes but changes that affect gameplay themselves - things like hooks not permanently breaking for example, these are things that are in the game for balance, not quality of life.
A quality of life change are things like colour blind mode, the visual terror radius etc.

well that’s kinda the whole issue of the community asking for a Game Health and or QoL update instead of a content chapter - we can’t really separate those clearly and obviously most are talking about balance changes
but which QoL feature do you think will get implemented next? 🙃

Actual qol would probably be things like:
* Hiding prestige levels in the lobby, only showing then at the end game screen.
* Allowing you to choose which prestige level to display (if you like a certain border)
* Toggle option to disable aim assist for killer
* Choose a certain lobby background, so you always see one from a previous chapter (or a random one) unless there's a new chapter or event to show off a new one
* Perk. Search. Bar.
* Built in perk randomizer, or a '4th' loadout slot that you can't modify that auto fills with random perks once you get in game
* FoV slider to replace shadowborn. I understand why this isn't strictly 'QoL' but I see this as more of an 'accessibility' feature tbh. Motion sickness is a thing.

I am not firm in the terminology. And it would be great to have along with console optimization…. But… even I am not as optimistic that this will come anytime soon (or at all for last gen..) sadly..

That's a balance change trust me BHVR signed contracts with Microsoft and Sony so people have to purchase a PS5 or Xbox Series X/S to play 60+ FPS dead by daylight.

Making it so Archive challenges doesn't block the end game chat window and cause me to accidentally back out of the results screen trying to type in the chat window.

Shorter and clearer perk description..... I know that veterans remember all perks including their names but PLEASE ... not every player has 1k hours in it.

Ya know, I never thought about this but I do think that's genuinely a good move, largely because most game you have to dedicate 1 perk to gen slowdown and another to either Franklin's or light born most of the time.

Autoselect next quest from Archive path once previous is completed. Possibility to claim rewards later. So you dont need to go to Archives after every.second.game.

Add a couple more hooks per map. Having dead zones that you can't hook somebody gets super old. All you can do is slug them and move on or ignore that player. Please add more hooks
Add number of hooks for killer. Feels like an unnecessary lack of info.
Double killer add ons you get in bloodwebs. Some killers feel borderline worthless without decent addons whole survivors you can plus just fine without addons or items

- More graphic settings that you don't have to go into the files to change
- Seeing other survivor perks and addons before game starts (or in loading screen). Also, reveal them near the player's name if you press ESC in-game (or somewhere else that is more convenient).
- Allow us to distinguish whether a friend is in a killer or survivor lobby/queue.
- Allow us to turn off menu sounds (like the blood web noises and the background noise etc) (not just menu music).
- Tell us who is still active in post game lobby (currently you can only tell if survivor players are still active in post game lobby by seeing their ping - but you cannot see if a killer is). Basically I want to know if I'm talking to the void.
- Allow us to use the old wiggle system via an option we can turn on in the settings.

More accessibility options like FOV slider.
Optimization, especially for those on console and low end PC.
Anonymous mode for console players OR in lobbies/game only show character name and have the gamertag on end game screen only.
Have the players go directly into a match instead of prematch lobby so there is less lobby dodging/backfill messing up matchmaking.
Show perks other survivors are running in match. Would be good to know if teammate is running Deliverance.
Have map offerings guarantee not going to specific realm instead of increasing odds to go there.
Remove end game chat, it's not necessary and just breeds toxicity.
Stop putting in challenges that require the rng in game to be in your favor or require swf coordination - many times these cause players on both sides to either play in unfun ways or throw games just to get challenges done.
Remove depips. Only exception should be if players DCs, they can get hit with negative pip.
Adjust BP survivors earn in a match.

I would not like my 4th perk chosen for me at random, but "Random Perks" as a separate game mode sounds fun. Sort of like "Mystery Heroes" in Overwatch.
My ideas:
- See what perks and items the other Survivors are playing. I have played numerous games where multiple people are playing Boon: Circle of Healing or Prove Thyself. Some perks you only really need one Survivor to play. This would also bring solo queue a bit closer to SWF as you could co-ordinate a bit in the pre-game lobby.
- "Play Again?" option in the end-game lobby. Sometimes I have good games with other Survivors in solo queue so it would be neat to be able to party up for the next game. We all know solo Survivor queues can be hit and miss (to put it mildly) so when you find a solid team, you don't want to leave them after one game!
- Sell unwanted items. I have hundreds (it might even be thousands) of items I know I will never use, let me trade them back in for bloodpoints, even if you only give me 50% of the value back.
- End of game awards. So I can reward another survivor by voting them as "Great Team Player", "Loop Legend" or "Gen Master" etc. and I can vote killer as "Worthy Opponent" and maybe these come with badges that everybody else can see.

As survivor, when I am holding the run button, i want the game to prioritize vaulting windows and vaulting/dropping pallets over any other action. I've been downed because of that chest next to the window in the silo on Torment Creek, because my survivor would zip two feet to the right to start unlocking it mid-chase instead of jumping through the window.
Alternatively, please move that stupid damn chest spawn somewhere else.

That would be great! And when not holding the run button it should prioritize healing or other non chase stuff - would be great QoL for controller players (don’t ask me how many pallets got dropped because that Meg had to move when she just sat down to get healed)

Oh making it so default the actions and interactions are different buttons instead of the same button would go such a long way.

Reworking some of the awful maps would obviously be more of a balance change than qol but it would be a massive improvement to the quality of the game so it counts imo.
Offering reworks should also be a priority. Map offerings should be either removed or prevent that realm instead of prioritise it and offerings that spawn survivors together or apart should be switched.

FOV slider, it's been discussed for ages.
We have afk crows for survivors, let's do something of this kind for killer, like forcefully DC an afk killer that's been standing around for more than 5 min (or less, since matches last around 5 min when survivors want to pop the gens as soon as possible). They'd get a penalty like for a normal DC.
BETTER COLORBLIND OPTIONS, PLEASE. I'm thinking like Overwatch did it. You can choose the colors you want to use for auras, etc. Currently colorblind options are so bad that it will change stuff from red to slightly more orange-y, but it doesn't matter, cuz when you gonna land on map like Borgo, you gonna get slapped with the red screen.
Since we got the visual terror radius from DBD Mobile, time for next step from there, which is SHARED INVENTORY. When a new character comes out, not everyone really feels like farming for a bp offering. Or maybe I'd like to use a flan to get the bp, and also play the new character without waiting until they're on decent lvl. There's also the case of running out of your items/offerings on your main, and other characters you lvled for perks have a lot of stuff you never gonna use, cuz you don't want to play as them for various reasons.
Map offerings should be gone, or old version of them should be brought back, when they didn't guaranteed a map. Map advantage is annoying, I'd rather have rng decide where we go

Killer QoLs:
Toggle for crosshair on ranged killers- Not gonna lie after years of playing this game I still can't line up shots because I can't tell where the actual center of my FOV is. With some killers like Plague and Slinger it isn't an issue, but for Trickster and Huntress it's a huge reason why I don't play them as much as I would like.
Changing tile spawning rules to prevent weird terrain spawns on loops- It's not uncommon for trees and brushes to spawn on loops that create areas where survivors can pass, but killers can't or both parties have to path around it which sort of throws off your movement. It's ultimately a small pain point, but I think killers would especially like not having the odd tree spawning on killer shack partially blocking one of the doors.
Chase music volume control- I'm gonna probably get a bunch of complaints, but seriously give us some control over chase music I'm not saying you have to let us turn it all the way off, but let us scale it back to a reasonable volume floor or just adjust the volume down a notch or two on your end as a patch. I'll take either one as long as Doctor's chase music stops hurting folks. Or just give doc new music that is musical.
Survivor QoLs:
Remove teammates collision- There have been a lot of complaints about folks getting bodyblocked by bad teammates and making it so survivors can pass through each other would end that entirely. I know it introduces some potential problems into the game, but it would probably be worth it in the long run.
Show teammates perks in lobby- This kinda strays into the realm of a balance related change, but hear me out. While I'm not usually wanting to more coordination for solo players in this case it just sort of would be nice to know if I can swap certain teamplay perks out as to not overlap with someone else. Part of reason people don't try new things is because you don't really know what your team is working with as a whole.
Better bp scaling for survivors- Survivor feels way more feast or famine when it comes to bp especially during events. Like if you're playing so well in stealth or spend the entire game running for your life you kinda don't get enough bp to justify the time spent. Also event items for survivors being more frequent that the actual bp offerings is super demoralizing. I can't spend firecrackers and party starters on perks. Maybe shift those to a lower drop rate than the bp offering so people play survivor a bit more during those periods.

The weird thing is we used to see Killer ping in lobby. I don't get why it was removed. I understand that lobby dodging is a problem, but bad ping is absolutely a legitimate reason to leave.

1) giving legendary skins the ability to get bloody cosmetics and to have their portrait in the menu
2) allowing the player to put their characters in order in the character select screen. Its in order of what characters where released but i want my mains to be the first characters i see when i kill on survivor or killer character selection

It seems to be mainly removed due to the change from Peer2Peer to dedicated server matchmaking. Considering you're supposed to be connected to servers closest to your area the ping less of an indication of your connection to specific players and more to the servers. So it wouldn't be as helpful as it used to be.

BHVR uses a different definition of Quality Of Life, than every other company I’ve ever seen.
BHVR said the survivor HUD is quality of life, but that isn’t quality of life, because it does affect gameplay, and is giving players information that can help them win the game. If the goal of the survivor HUD is to help equalize the game experiences between solo q and SWFs, that has nothing to do with quality of life, as quality of life has nothing to do with equalizing game experiences.

What I want in the future:
* Garden of Sewage and Borpoop maps to be obliterated. It sucks so bad if you’re an M1 killer.
* Bleed out speed to be increased if all living survivors are slugged and none have a perk to pick themselves up. Could be an optional feature so the survivor can choose if they want to speed it up or not.
* Claudette gets a Bush map.
* Shirtless Carlos cosmetic.
* Undying gets a buff that will transfer hexes up to two times.
* Botany Knowledge gets a buff.
* Scratch Mirror becomes base-kit for Myers and all his add-ons are reworked (Removing the ability to kill survivors) to change his play style in interesting and fun ways. What that will be? I don’t know, that’s the devs job to figure out.
* Black Suit cosmetic with slicked back hair for Myers.
* Maps reworked to implement more places to fall off of for Balanced Landing to activate.
* I want the Spine Chill nerf reworked but understand that the current one is healthier for the game.
* The game will now prevent you from seeing the same killer/map twice in a row.
* Fog is reworked to be more fog-like and not the crap we have now.
