Tier list based on killer's SKILL CEILING.
(More Skilled = More Value)

I'd put Wraith in the very easy category. He's a killer I recommend to brand new players.

Artist is way, way, way too high
6 -
On point for the most part but a few changes imo.
I feel demo and hag should be v hard tier, they require extremely good planning and map control to be effective.
No way wesker is top tier difficulty, his virulent bound is nuts and quite easy to use. I got good with him real quick.
Artist and slinger could go down a peg finicky powers but once you have a decent idea they get easier to use. And probably plague too. Definitely mid difficulty imo, you remove the effectiveness of healing and medkits by vomiting on everyone and everything. Not rocket science to play.

Not terrible but a few I disagree with
You're underestimating how hard tracking as spirit is for most players. There are A LOT of bad spirit players. Definitely a higher skill ceiling than you're giving her credit for. Can you honestly say this killer is as easy as Myers? Easier than Wraith and Pig? Vanilla M1 killers are not higher skill ceiling than Spirit.
Clown's skill ceiling is much higher than you're giving him credit for.
5 -
I know it's on trend to say Spirit is brainless, but she's mid-tier, at least after her changes, with the directional sound in play. Wesker isn't all that hard to get a handle on, either.
And if you're really being pedantic about your definition of skill ceiling, I'd say Huntress' is almost infinite.
I'd drop Wesker and Artist down a tier or maybe two, and bump Nurse and Huntress to the top tier.
5 -
I don't play slinger but is he really that hard? He always seemed like an even easier huntress to me...
I personally think Oni is harder than Wesker. So i'd at least put him behind Oni in the same tier or tier down Wesker and tier up Oni for the simple fact that you are more punished by mistakes as Oni than Wesker.
1 -
Nurse is 2 high, move her down one
demogorgon should just be in easy.
0 -
One of the things that makes Slinger's skill ceiling much higher than huntress is the fact that he CAN shoot through every gap in any map because of his hitbox, unlike Huntress meaning, there's more you can learn with him.
Oni is not punished a lot with his hitboxes and don't have much techs as Blight and Wesker that you can learn.
1 -
What makes you think Demo is easy? He is considered a high B/low A tier killer that has one of the worst kill rates in the entire game.
1 -
In that same vein however huntress can go crossmap, I'd argue that takes more practice than shooting through the gap in shack
0 -
-You got a point on that.
-Sure it is easy, it is just a Dash. But this tier list is based on Skill Ceiling, meaning you need to learn ALL Wesker's techs/tricks to extract all of his potential, just his Hug Tech put him in Hard at minimum (that sh*t is hard to do).

Fair dos. Suppose I was thinking of simply being effective with those killers rather than mastering.

Ok so Pig being Medium... Seems to low for me
Timing her RBT's to gain some sort of pressure outside of chases and Hooks... kinda adds to her difficult IMO
0 -
Slinger shooting throught gaps is more consistent/more unpredictable than Huntress crossmaps snipes.
Yeah it takes more skill to do, but it's not like you can do on every map, against every survivor. Every time a Huntress to do this it's just like "F*** it, let me try this".

It took me awhile to get the hang of Demo but I found Wraith pretty straightforward to learn

Spirit should be up to very difficult imo. I know it’s the cool thing to call Spirit easy but she still has more skill ceiling than most the killer roster.
Onryo should be down to easy.
1 -
Ghostface needs to be at the very top of Medium tier. Clown should be in Challenging tier at the very least.
Bubba in challenging tier? Lmao, he’s brain dead easy, you could probably master him in around 300 hours or less. Besides all that, list is ok.
0 -
Ghostface, Hag, Trapper and Spirit should be higher.
Artist, Bubba and Plague should be lower.
1 -
Trickster is very difficult. You have to land perfect shots and now the right loop mindgames to tuly be effective with him.
1 -
Disagree on Hag.
Very good Hags have extensive knowledge of each map and amazing chase Hags can to POV tricks with their traps to near guarantee hits.
That takes a lot of experience and skill and has good results.
0 -
Disagree with most of them to be honest. I feel like you mix up skill ceiling of the killer's power and general macro management of the game (which applies to every killer almost identically)
1 -
Depends on add-ons used. Dried cherry blossom MDR is probably the easiest a killer can be
0 -
Hard disagree on spirit. I can't track survivors worth a damn with sound and I'll only play her if there are dailies to do. Even then, no guarantee I'll pull it off in one single game.
0 -
I agree about cherry blossom but that would be silly to rank an entire killer based on 1 addon. Most spirits I see don’t even use it.
1 -
I disagree on about half of these.
The most absurd one, IMO, is Nurse where you constantly progress even after 30000 blink attacks. I also find her more difficult than Blight.
Ah well, I don't have the afternoon to sort the rest out so I'll leave it at that.
0 -
Why though? She may not be among the hardest to master but “dropping a crow at a loop and running” is not the only thing to learn with Artist. There’s a lot of things that go into learning long range crows that separate bad and good Artists. Bad Artists get heavily punished for missing, good ones get rewarded, and great ones can be so deadly to go against.
1 -
I would say that Huntress should be top Very Difficult tier over Nurse and "Samurai goes BONK", but the rest of the tier list seems accurate :D
0 -
This is for killers on skill ceiling not win rates
0 -
Yea, but wouldn't a killer that is considered to be strong that also has one of the lowest win rates mean they are hard?
0 -
Hard disagree on Spirit being in the “easy” category. There’s so much more to her than most think. Trying to accurately land on top of good survivors while blind consistently is not considered “easy” especially since the in-game audio is so inconsistent and buggy and also not to mention that now she has a very clear, more pinpoint accurate directional audio for survivors to easily use to their advantage. But this is your own opinion on Spirit so whatever.
Personally, i would put Spirit in the “challenging “ or “very difficult “ category.

unlike the joke that the only thing you need to play spirit is a headset, she isn't that easy, at all. no way wraith is harder than all those killers, and huntress has -i think- one of the highest skill ceilings. i am talking about cross maps and angled shots and not "just lob a hatchet and throw it 4head"
0 -
It’s really baffling how many rate Spirit as easy. ESPECIALLY after her nerf. Oh well 🤷🏼♀️

i just assumed this was mostly on how hard there power is to master? Demogorgon is just timing, and most of the time not even that hard of timing
0 -
I would say that his power gives you more windows to attack players which results in being much harder to hit every one. There are some very small windows that require perfect timing while also needing to identify that there is even a window there in the first place. I would think that being able to hit every shred window would be mastering the power.

Billy is the most mechanically intense killer but Blight simply has a much higher skill ceiling, nearly unreachable at that. No one has gotten close to mastering blight on the other hand billy has probably been all but mastered by several people.
0 -
Some weird choices here. Definitely don't agree that Billy has the highest skill ceiling in the game. I don't think Oni's all that difficult either. The only thing difficult about Plague is trying to figure out the lag every game, but that's not a skill thing. Spirit should also be in the highest tier.

It’s just because people get salty when they lose to Spirit and it’s easier to make excuses than take accountability for getting outplayed.
