Patches kill the essence of the game
Why do many people use Dead Hard?
The reason is the nature of this game.
In this game, you can get a thrilling experience through psychological warfare during a chase with a killer.
The base for this is deadhard.
Of course, the better a killer is, the harder it is to win a psychological battle.
Even if you use Dead Hard 5 times in a game, you won't make it once.
BHVR doesn't know how many people use Dead Hard
We're gonna have to see how many times we've got in a game and how many times we've got
It is very difficult to make a success of Dead Hard.
But it's very stupid to make the conditions worse.
I won't be able to have a thrilling experience in this game anymore.
BHVR killed the game.

Just get better at looping, if 1 perk makes this much of a difference then its 100% you.

The most fundamental fun of this game is the chase.
The killer catches the survivor in a chase
Survivors need to run away from the killer.
In the process, it is the most fun to compete through psychological warfare.
Dead hard is what maximizes this psychological warfare
But you must be having fun just running the generator, seeing as you're talking about other crap.
Yeah, you keep the generator running.

psychological warfare? Really?
Staring at survivor is so fun counterplay. Not really psychological, just boring.
That perks basically disable killers lunge attack, even monkey can use it on reaction against that.
Maybe try to mindgame with your movement like normal survivors? You don't need perk for it and if you care so much about it, you can still use it.
After two weeks, killers are going to stop respect DH, like the did with DS. Then you will be use it at least once per game and second use will be your cute warfare.

There's nothing to say about the psychological warfare of the chase as simple as you do.
It seems to me that you just played a game where you had to put down the board and die if you used it up.
Now that bhvr has made it such a game by killing DH, it won't make any difference to you.

Why troll? It always comes down to ‘it’s you’ with you people.

What the hell?
You think that using deadhard is some peak of skill?
It's random gamble if you can't react. So killer can't use lunge and waste 4 seconds each chase, because of this perk.
But there is not much extra value for the game.
You can still use it, when you need it so much. What you want is still same, you just won't use it so often, but that shouldn't matter for you. Unless you want it simply because perk was really good for survivor.

you could wait the 0.5 of a second that Dead Hard is active... it works for me and I started to play killer a few weeks ago

Sigh.
Using Dead Hard is not the pinnacle of your ability, but you can maximize the fun of psychological warfare in a chase with a killer.
For a kid like you, this game is all about running a generator and using a board when you meet a killer
The killer you meet will definitely do the lunge
The killer I meet either waits to use Dead Hard or leads.
There are a lot of strategies and a lot of psychological warfare in this game.
To explain all this is to teach the monkey math.
For example, in baseball, a pitcher throws only fastballs.
No dead hard means you only throw a fastball.
It's not fun. Do you get it?

If survivor use it, but if he didn't you can't lunge. It's free DH for survivor.
You need to get close and try flick your camera or something to bait it.
That makes every chase longer than needed because of perk survivor don't even need to use.
Or just attack and hope for the best, but if survivor DH you just made this chase +/- 20 seconds longer.

It's very important for the devs to nerf things that are way too strong otherwise the game becomes a stale mess. Well it is a stale mess, but at least the devs are showing they will change things.

most survivors are jumpy... sometimes you'll run into survivors who won't fall for that but for the 0.5 you can't really predict if the killer is gonna swing, unless they know for sure like if they can't make a vault or pallet.

This post is a strange way of saying "I want to win and only won because I over relied in DH and now I can't do that anymore so I'm going to cry and made up excuses of why I don't like the game".
The funny thing is that DH is as effective as it was before after your first hook. If you are worried of being tunneled and not being able to use it, pair it with DS. After you are unhooked, you would be able to use DH to extend your next chase as you did before, with the added benefit that now you would catch the killer by surprise more often and now only a few would expect you to have it.
You and all the people that stopped using it because of the change is because the perk carried you through all the chases you had. You wasn't winning the chases, the perk was. And now that it won't win games for you, here you are saying "funny" things.

You can't read.
I never said I wanted to win.
I play a lot of murderers, too.
Probably completed more skillful killer challenges than you did.
The point I'm making is that Dead Hard has become a patch, simplifying the psychological warfare of the chase.
The game itself has become simpler.
I wrote it down on the top.
For example, in baseball, a pitcher throws only fastballs.
Not having a dead hard only throws a fastball.
It's not fun. Do you get it?

And I can say that I don't want to be a millionaire, but argue they should make the probabilities of winning the lottery higher as that would make playing it "more fun and thrilling".
You still can mindgame in loops to have your "psychological warfare" fun in the game. Having DH as before is having a pass so you have to make 5 strikes before you are out instead of 3, which invalidates the good work of the pitcher.

Anyone else remember playing before DH even existed in the game? Those were good times when people didn't say a game is ruined because a perk changed.
Anyways, you can stil ldo well in chase. I havent used DH in years and can get several minutes long chases. DH was a crutch perk. If you are no longer able to play a role because of a perk change that's more indicative of a perk carrying you than skill. The same goes for old NOED for killers.
I'd be totally okay giving DH back to its full strength if killers can get hex ruin back to full strength. Killers lost their must have perk a long time ago (and its worthless now) while DH can still be used.

What the hell are you talking about?
I told you the point that the Dead Hard Patch simplifies the game. You don't know?
Are you really playing this game?
I'll give you a quick example
Pitchers can only throw fastballs up to five innings in a baseball game.
You can only throw fastballs and breaking balls until nine innings.
This is the case with a dead hard patch.

The fact that you cry about DH nerf so much, kinda tells it was supposed to be nerfed.
Players shouldn't rely on any perk this much.
It was one of best exhaustion perks in the game and also easiest to use.
Counter play was boring for other side and it basically disabled core mechanic of the game.
How the hell is perk like that good for the game?
Just get over it and find alternative like every other normal player. Things get nerfed, get used to it.
Or keep using it, if you like that effect so much and don't need it to win.

people use dh cause its op, lol, nothing else. dont act like its for "the thrill" or anything like that, its the most used because itsthe most powerful hands down

There are a lot of people who don't understand that the Dead Hard Patch simplified the game.
One way or another, the chase eventually narrows the distance from the killer.
Then we'll use the board of the structure.
A good killer builds anger and catches survivors without breaking boards.
At this point, you can make a dead hard without using a board and keep your distance from the killer.
Or even if you use a board, you make a dead hard by pretending to cross the board through psychological warfare.
Besides this, there are various ways to use dead hard.
In order to interfere with tunneling, they get hit instead and then induce another flat hit with dead hearts.
When we rescue a survivor who is hooked from an injury, we can get Dead Hard and rescue him.
When you save a survivor lying down from injury, even if a killer approaches you, you can escape to Dead Hard.
It's not all easy.
There are many times when you don't succeed.
Now you can only use Dead Hard twice.
I can't play like that anymore.
Even if you're good at distance and looping, you have no choice but to use a board and die when a murderer comes.
I'm just saying it's not fun to simplify the game like this.
But there are more people who don't understand than I thought.
I'll just delete the game.
Have fun playing the game.

You mean pallet. I was wondering what the hell is board.
It doesn't get that much in depth as you try to claim. You press the button, that's it. Wow so much skill.
You still have exactly same thing:
Will killer respect, so I can get extra loop?
Will killer go through, so I should drop pallet for stun?
You can fake going through and then drop pallet.
DH doesn't take it away, it just gives option to fix your mistake. If anything, you have less thrill, because it's safer for you this way.

You can still have excellent chases without DH. Here's a game I played not too long ago without DH and did very well with chases still being interesting.

It sounds more like DH was a curveball and you only ever learned how to throw curveballs. There's dozens other kinds of pitches, go learn some of those.

"gIt GOoD" Tell that to killers because they dont even have to be good. You can be a BAD killer and still get at least 1 kill every match because the game is so heavily in killer favor. I switch between killer and survivor, I know because I am a bad killer and I still get 4ks 2/3 matches unless I MAKE A DECISION TO BE NICE.
Killer camping and tunneling has no real counter to it other than 'git gud' means players get fed up and quit. DH was never that strong, it was just a loop extender. Killers cried that they were losing on gens because of DH so they nerf it. Then they nerf gen speed, then they nerf DH again. They cry because they lose on gens while camping so they nerf the perk they added because of camping. I'm sorry, reassurance should be stackable and repeatable as long as the hooked player is in killer terror radius or some arbitrary distance. But no, they nerfed it so even if you all brought it you still cant finish enough gens while the killer camps.
Honestly, this game is trash I just play it because for awhile there they had a really good balance where most games 2-3 survivors got out or 2-3 died. 1 and 4 seemed much rarer then. Now its like all or nothing. Either the killer gets no one or the killer snowballs and gets everyone. ######### Boring.

Well...seems like you don't like the game.

The chase in this game is always the same. When you meet a killer, you run away, but eventually you get close. At this time, DH can play various psychological warfare. Someone who simplifies the game won't understand. Because when you meet a killer, he only uses the palette and dies.
