I wish insidious would get a secondary effect
Hopefully with more small tweaks happening to stuff every midchapter insidious can finally get something else added to its ability. Its the king of stealth perks apparently and i would love to move it away from camping. Hell even something like "Adds 3/4/5 seconds of undetectable and oblivious to all effects" itd make tinkerer billy with silent saw 21 seconds. Chatterer tooth pinhead 35 seconds. And other stealth examples. Might be broken but worth a shot (i doubt it since youd be adding a perk to just extend other perks and addons like lethal). A lot of killers have some form of stealth addon. But they seem pretty content with how insidious is right now i guess.

Someone on here mentioned a while back that it should get the lethal pursuer treatment and give other stealth perks an additional two secs of stealth time. It’s not a bad idea or bad place to start

Yeah adding on stealth to effects could honestly raise it a bit. Theyd probably have to fix its first effect as well in the future but at least itd be a good starting point to give it a LP treatment.

It doesn't need a secondary effect so much as a completely new primary effect. Any new effects it's given otherwise will just make it a camping perk with extra steps.

It needs a complete revamp. It's an unhealthy perk and only promotes bad playstyles.

I mean with this if youd want to get the most benefit from it youd have to be moving as your not gonna get value from something like tinkerer or stealth huntress or stealth demo if your not running around getting the jump on people. Sure you could stand still for the 1st effect but then your getting nothing from your other undetectable perks/addons. But yeah i could see changing its primary like i said in the future.

But it still wouldn't be used for that. It would still be first and foremost used for camping.

I don't really know since even as a camp perk its mediocre. If the effect of adding was good enough i could see more people use it for stealth builds than as a camp tool. I don't really know. Like sure insidious bubba and stuff but then i could see billys using it with silent saw. Huntress for wooden fox build. Wesker for stealth wesker. Demo for stealth demo. Ect. But never know i guess.

Of course it's mediocre. It's a bad perk just like about 80% of killer perks. But making it slightly less mediocre won't stop it being used for camping. Only a rework will do that.

I've always suggested a perk that gets a token every unique hook, with each token reducing the size of the inner terror radius by 20% so that your approach is less noticeable.

My own rework idea has been to give it a touch of Dark Devotion. Once activated, it leaves you leave your terror radius behind for XYZ seconds, while it remains in place where you activated Insidious.
The idea is to remove the biggest issue to Insidious: Insidious camping

It should get a new effect but its current effect shouldn't stay. Its current effect isn't used for anything other than camping and it's not healthy gameplay.
