What is age rating of Dead by Daylight?
In a game, which main feature is blood, scream and violance. Where various killers hit, down and hook mostly innocent people.
We have profanity filter...
Why?why there is no way to disable it?

just because you are a murderer or getting murdered does not mean you should be a rude bean in chat

I can be rude even with profanity filter like typing "easy".
But why i cant spell words like blood, kill etc? I just dropped pools of blood and being killed, and i cannot spell those words in chat? Where is consistency?

Why do you find it consistent that blood, murder and maiming is in the same boat as swearing & death threats?
What kind of standard says bHVR must put those together? like why do you assume that?

So YOu are saying that bad words are worse than litteral psychopatic violance?

I'm saying bad words are worse than fake videogame violence. Its a game, bro.

Bad words in fake video game are same fake

Nah, you will still get banned for those.

But still. Being unable to disable profanity filter in game rated as 18+ is just silly to me.

Yeah, that is the point. If someone is more fragile and is hurt by words, they can enable filter and dont see bad words. This is the whole purpouse for it.
Where did i say i want those people to see how im offending them. I would love to have normal conversation, to be able to tell them im glad they realized that i didnt wanted to kill them, without making words "kill them" a "*************".

It would change everything. Right now i can have normal conversation with noone. If profanity filter was optional, there would be some people i can normally talk to.

We used to not have a profanity filter.
People felt the need to go out of their way to be so extra in endgame that sometimes content creators would get in trouble.
We also had a very vocal minority of players who seemed to enjoy being as racist and phobic as possible.
When enough folks prove they can't be trusted to keep themselves in check features get added to keep them in check.

If you can't have a normal conversation with a profanity filter on, I would say that maybe you're not having a normal conversation. Not being able to say curse words can be a tad bit tedious at times, but if you can't have a normal conversation in any way shape or form you might need to consider what you're saying.

The thing is though, this filter sometimes filters out normal words like "gg" or character names like "felix"

Exactly that.
Also, why saying "im glad You realized i was not going to kill You" is anything bad?
Still, in game which main feature is blood, gore and violance, the mandatory profanity filter is just weird. And if someone is so much hurted by cursed words in chat, then maybe the game on its own is a little too brutal... really people, gore and violance is less hurting than bad words? REALLY?
Profanity filter should be at least optional.
