Mikaela Reid circle of healing
Since the new update I'm not able to heal myself in my circle of healing with the perk which have the cross in it. Is it a bug or did they changed something again in the worse?

CoH was changed this last patch to now give a 100% healing speed bonus and reveal anyones aura inside the boon radius, how ever its Self Healing effect was removed and it no longer works with Medkits

Yeah they took away self healing from the Boon: Circle of Healing. It’s not a bug it’s just a massive nerf to the perk.
I don’t see why they couldn’t have kept the self healing because now the perk is worthless for solo survivors.

Because access to team wide self healing for the cost of a single perk slot on a single character pretty much poops on the game balance. Self healing wasn't meant to be that easily accessible considering the game is more balanced when teams actually are a forced a bit more to act as a team. New CoH incentivizes that.

They could’ve just gave it a 60 second cool down after the totem was snuffed or maybe even given killer basekit Shattered Hope but now the perk trash for solos and a decent pick for SWFs.
Not gonna lie, I really enjoy not seeing it every match as killer but the perk could’ve been nerfed differently to not create an even bigger gap between solo and SWFs.

A minute long cooldown doesn't really address the problem that the game had too much self healing access and self healing was far too efficient. I don't believe giving killers or survivor base kit perk effects to solve problems when you could just fix the problem at its root.

New CoH is worse for the game in my opinion...
Before it was OP, but at least it helped solo q. Now its kinda like an inverted Eruption, its completely useless for solo players but absurdly abusable by SWF, allowing for 3 heals in under 20 seconds.
I think 24 second self healing with no other bonuses would put it in a better state.

It's not completely useless for solo queue. I've gotten some pretty good value from the aura-reading, like if a teammate in chase is stepping into the boon's radius, or generally to see where people are at, especially on smaller maps like The Game or Midwich. The worst case scenario is if you have an injured teammate who is doing nothing but waiting for someone to come heal them vs finding something productive to do within the boon's radius, and I haven't seen that happen yet.
And of course it has potential to be abused by a SWF, but what team oriented perks aren't?
