Nerfing survivors leaving blight unchanged
Thank you developers!I enjoy being not able to heal myself all game while facing sloppy butcher spirits and aura alchemists ring and adrenaline vial blights 5 matches in a row! Always a pleasure playing a game with understanding developers!

Yea let’s ignore that every single viable regression perk (pain res is still decent with some brain) was destroyed. M1 killers cannot hardly keep up with a semi decent group. Survivors were not the only nerfed party.
You wanna heal yourself all game? Bring self care + botany.

Blight can't be changed because he has 3 busted add-ons while most other killers have only 1-2. As a result, he slips through the balance team's methodology: after looking at the Excel spreadsheet they have the impression that Blight doesn't have one particularly strong add-on, hence that he must be perfectly balanced, and instead the problematic killers must be Clown and Billy.

Blights skill ceiling is the highest in the entire game. Hillbilly is more mechanically demanding all the time we’re as blight it’s just developed muscle memory. Most good blight players will run blighted rat and crow with a generic build like Lethal, BBQ, Shadowborn and Agaitation/Enduring. It’s very satisfying and fun dodging a blights flick or predicting a hug tech and dodging at the perfect time when they flick cause you just know when they are going to do it.
Is it cringe running 3-4 slowdowns and playing for a subway gift card in pubs when you’re already cracked at blight? Yes..

- Best chase in the game tied with nurse
- Best addons in the game
- 1000 game winstreak possible
- Video evidence of cracked Blight (Lilith) destroying a team of cracked survivors at three gens (ayrun and other comp players)
This killer needs more than just an addon nerf. If Blight wasn't able to traverse the entire map in seconds then he wouldn't be as oppressive but i'm not sure how you could pull that off. You could leave the mechanics of his rush untouched but make him earn it the way Oni does. That way he can't just sprint across the map and get a down 20 seconds into every match.

Wouldn't the answer be nerf Blights busted addons and buff the lower tier killers?
As for regression being dead I have to disagree. Pain Res is still solid. Pop is still good despite claims to the contrary. Jolt has always been good for M1 killers. Deadlock and Corrupt help stall. Point being there are good options still there.

I would absolutely agree with that answer.
I said pain res was still decent, but ultimately subject to RNG. Pop is ok if you can catch gens at high progress. There are still good options, but they are much much weaker than old CoB, OC, pain res.

Literally altruistic healing is honestly better than before. Medkits were nerfed hard and I say good riddance, they weren’t healthy for the game in any way.

There were balance changes for both sides in this most recent update. That said, this really isn't a fair comparison. You're trying to link balance changes for one side to something completely unrelated on the other. You could apply the same logic to absolutely anything to create a constantly moving goalpost that we can never possibly reach. In the end, there's only so much time in between updates for us to make changes. If we waited until we changed everything we could ever want at once, you would be waiting multiple years before seeing any changes at all. That's simply not an option.
If you feel like The Blight is too strong, you can always say that. Give a couple reasons why you think that's the case and it'll stand on its own. But bringing up something completely unrelated doesn't help your case.

No way 1k winstreak only possible because hyper tunneling/slugging with 4 slowdown and a good blight player winning against good survivors with 3 gens left when mistakes could have factored into that.

I'm sure that 2+ years of "alchemist ring is one of the most broken add-ons in the game" from content creators and community with plenty of explanations and examples weren't enough already, op should give his own reasons too, maybe that'll speed up your balance team /s

Community requests: Balance maps, balance killers, balance spirit and blight together with addons. Why you spend your time nerfing survivors and tweaking killers when there are overpowered killers who will only gain from slightest survivors nerfs. You have one month to fix things, maybe two months and you decide to nerf solo queue survivors again while ignoring op killers, so if you spent your time on one thing it means you can not spend your time on another thing, which makes those two things related?

While most of us understand there's only so much that can be done for any given patch, the priority list seems questionable.

There's no reason for the Devs to be so slow at adjusting add-ons.
There's no excuse for leaving Freddy and Pyramid Head like they are. Also no excuse for not adjusting Alc Ring, C33 or double speed.

I’m still curious how drastically the Survivor HUD changed escape rates. It’s has been in the game for a while, but we’ve gotten zero feedback on how much it affects escape rates.

Finally someone else says it that clearly. The gab between killers is huge, especially the Top 3 Nurse, Blight, Spirit and the Flop 3 Trapper, Freddy and Myers.
And no, Killrates are not a viable option to determine how strong or weak a killer actually is.

I dont think that Blight will ever get nerfed, last time they did buff his addons, I think if he gets anything will be another buff.
Maybe after someone reached 2000+ win in row with him, might get one addon changed at max

I remember when people were complaining that Blight was weak because of where the camera was located [Even though there were Twitch streams of McClean & Hexy cleaning house with Blight].
So BHVR raised the camera, removing Blight's drawback, and Blight became the machine that he is. Sometimes what the community asks for blows up in our face.
I have bigger beef with Blight techs [which are unintended behavior]. But overall I feel something needs to change, techs or add-ons.

Players were asking for Blight buffs and they got them. Players were constantly saying they couldn't play as Blight because of the camera. After the camera was changed more people started playing the killer.

1)something for tunneling, camping and early gen rush
2)blight addons and nurse breaking the game

4)map offerings

Blight is not OP. Every killer without Blight and Nurse are Under power.
Recently reworked and new maps have large size,many pallet,connected chase point. So killer need quick down and movable ability.
If Blight will be nurfed,BhVR should rework all recently map.

But you must know this is the case. There are a plethora of people who've stated why blight is OP right now, especially since the nerfs to healing. Your reply just comes off as snobbery, the same way most replies from killer mains do.
I play 50/50, and playing blight feels super easy to get a 4k (with certain add-ons), especially in comparison with some other killers.

It is related though. You always have to take into account the strongest parts of the Killer roster when nerfing baseline survivor. When you dont do that,you end up with whatever the hell this patch is.

We’re still waiting for BHVR to take in account the strongest parts of survivors (SWF). We’ve been told (for a very long time), that solo q needs to be brought closer to SWFs so all survivors can be balanced accordingly…….. but we still are waiting for the “balanced accordingly” to happen.
Instead, we got a patch that widened the gap between solo q and SWF, by dumping all the healing nerfs onto self healing…. and SWFs can coordinate altruistic healing way easier than solo q can.

It's been said for years that Blight is problematic with his add ons; you simply don't care as developers to address it.

To be fair the only thing really making Blight op is his add ons which need looked at.Nurse is still op in the right hands and again needs looked at,but similarly the situation with healing was ridiculously hard for new killer players to cope with especially as due to dwindling killer numbers they were sometimes thrown into matches with survivors way above their skill level all carrying med kits with add ons and circle of healing, the changes are actually imo making the game more balanced.
