What happened to normalizing survivor injury noises?
Remember when iron will got nerfed and we were told they'd be looking at survivor injury noises, what happened to that? Why are some survivors still so loud like Claire for example.

As far as I know, it's in the works. BHVR acknowledged that they were going to make them more equal sounding.

They never got to do this yet.
one of the devs mentioned it in January, and that it has not been forgotten. Though i guess there just wasn’t time/resources for it yet it’s probably planned for next years* roadmap
(* meaning starting after this anniversary)

Everyone is now at Claire's volume

I think it's fine as it is.
Female survivors when injured are smaller but louder. Whereas it's the opposite for injured male survivors who are quieter but taller.
Balance I guess ? Make your choice.

I dont see how this could take so long.

Ace is one of the quietest survivors and he's a male. Some female survivors are also pretty loud.
IMO, it's better for the game as a whole if injured sounds were the same.

I mean aside from bringing out new characters with whole new perks every 3 monts, doing bug fixes, and shaking up the meta, changing things from PTB to live, I imagine they have quite a lot going on.

It's probably not that it takes very long so much as they haven't had the people to spare for it.

I like that they have different noise levels. Inexperienced players can play quieter ones until they gain confidence, and more experienced players will enjoy the challenge of louder ones. To me it's like the cosmetics, where newer players will use more immersive clothing to blend in while older players dgaf and wear the bright stuff.

I also like to play as who I want without them being a detriment. Although it can be funny to hide being walls as Claire and hear the killer opening lockers on the otherside of the building.
That said, people should be able to play who they want without spirit spawning ontop of you super easily just because you wanted to play your fav survivor.
