Why are farm maps still heavily survivor-sided?
They've been very strong maps for survivor for a while now. With autohaven maps in a better place, I hope that coldwind farm or mother's dwelling realms are what show up in feedback surveys next.

I don’t agree with a kill switch, but they need a drastic rework. Something that is worth pointing out is that we have never got a map like Hawkins again. Survivors didn’t like that the pallets are mindgameable.

Just to be clear, why should the farm maps be kill-switched? Bearing in mind the purpose of the kill switch is to turn off broken features or characters until they are fixed, and not because a map is X-Sided.
Contextless rage does not a kill-switch justification make.

What exactly is bugged on Coldwind maps?
They never kill switched Merciless Storm when it was bugged for over a month and was causing gens to instantly regress from 90% to 0 - that's a weird way to favor survivors.

You can make arguments for why a given map is survivor or killer sided, but this is ultimately conjecture. Do you have evidence the maps are favouring one side too much? That evidence would be kill rates. A map that was truly survivor sided would have a significantly lower kill rate than the average, and vice versa. BHVR have this and have acted on them before when they reworked Eyrie of Crows. Unless you have kill rates to indicate a significant bias one way or the other, this is ultimately just "I don't like this map". You could say BHVR have a very loose margin for what is deemed 'significant' so as not to be constantly reworking maps all the time, but again, conjecture. I'm sure if one map being so survivor sided that it required a rework didn't result in it being killswitched before, then no current map in the roster is so imbalanced that it should be killswitched.
For example, most think Midwich is killer sided. The arguments for why that is are sound. However there's also the issue of hook placement, exit gate positions, and strong loops that require breaking down doors. There aren't really any 'weak' pallets either, besides the two in the chemistry lab and the library. These all serve to balance the fact that Midwich is a small map on two levels, but many may not recognise this due to confirmation bias. People are more likely to recognise unfavourable conditions (this map is too killer sided because I always die) than favourable ones (I survived on this map, must be an anomaly because it's killer sided), this is called confirmation bias.
This is also largely why I don't believe map offerings are a problem. Maybe they are at super high comp level play, but I don't believe the kill rates are actually that varied for the general playerbase. Most maps are generally fairly balanced, with different aspects favouring one side like strong loops or larger map sizes for survivors, balanced by different aspects favouring the other like potential 3 gens or close hook placements, not to mention that fact that different killers have different map affinities, ultimately resolving in relatively even kill rates.
Anecdotally (because after all that's all each of us have), I have died and escaped on every map, and I have scored 0 kills and 4 kills on every map. All maps are viable, which means the balance issues, which I'm sure exist, probably aren't that significant.

The farm map is extremely obnoxious to play on, but its not bugged in any way. Same with Garden of Joy, they are just heavily one sided maps, but BHVR isn't going to killswitch them, which leads into my second point

BHVR doesn't even use the killswitch. Absurdly broken Knight and Merciless Storm were just chilling for almost a month(?). If the maps were broken, which they aren't they wouldn't even be killswitched.
Like, even though I hate playing against Nurse and Spirit, I don't want them killswitched... I don't even want them changed. Well Nurse a little bit...

I hate coldwind too buddy, but a killswitch is for game breaking bugs. And last time I checked, coldwind isn't bugged.

If you’re implying that the devs only killswitch things when it benefits survivors, I will kindly point out to you a counterexample with the recent Merciless Storm bug that the devs let go untouched for an awfully long time even though survivors were (rightfully) screaming to have it killswitched.

Technically it is though. The Coldwind maps are ALL bugged right now. If that isn't what the killswitch is for; temporarily removing something that doesn't work properly until they get to fixing it, I don't know what is.

If they're bugged, then fair enough. I wasn't aware there was an issue.
Either way, OP just referenced how survivor-favored those maps are and left it at that, which is a balance issue that should be addressed, not a bug that needs to be killswitched.

The harvester bug hasn't been fixed yet. It allows a survivor to position on one of the hay bales and become completely unhittable. The killer then has no other choice but to vault the window and follow them around until it gets blocked. Basically the harvesters are just as strong as they used to be before the map rework.

Most killers struggle due to the size. Fractured Cowshed is infamous because of it's ridiculous setups.
As for the Op's question, the maps aren't bugged. If we're just banning things people don't like I'd like to submit my list.

Nah just fake them out, then jump across the little gap as they vault, if you time it right, you can hit them just as they finish the vault. Is it easy? No. But that doesn't mean the harvester is bugged.

I'm talking about the hay bale on the other side. The one that you can only get on by vaulting.
What you described is no problem at all and not what I was referring to. It is pretty easy to mind game the right side of the harvester. The left side is a problem though. The killer should be able to hit a survivor there but this is currently not working as intended. They fixed it along with the map rework but now it's broken again.

Thompson House and Torment creek are pretty tolerable for killer infact I think those 2 variations of coldwind are more killer sided imo.

Almost every map is surv-sided with good survs, except nurse. There're a few "special builds" for each killer who are using certain map offerings, but that's pretty much it. Killswitches are supposed for exploits and bugs. If anything, get rid of map offerings on both sides.

At least my threads aren't whining about crutch perks being nerfed. I don't use meta perks or items. My complaints are often about how non-meta stuff needs to be better.

Kill rates don't mean #########. You can camp people to death in this game. The farm map and cowshed in particular are survivor sided because it would take an experienced killer playing any m1 killer 5 minutes to down a good survivor 1 v 1 on that map. Almost every loop is ridiculously safe with long walls on each side and the killer can't see anything over half of the haystack loops.

Every joke aside, but every new map since The Artists release has been really painful for the killer. And most map reworks just added more foilage to hide and lose track of scratch marks, but little to make the maps any smaller or less palett dense or stop this disgusting double gyms from spawning, like in the suffocation pit.
Players have been suggesting since time immemoral that we should have smaller, maps, so that non.mobile M1 killers don't just lose by default, but that has never been discussed in earnest.

Not all of the farm maps are survivor sieded. Yes they are really big, but some doesnt have very good structures too loop. Thomsen House and Rotten Fields for example are maps you can have a great time.

At the moment midwitch can be very hard for killers. WoO is very popular and on this map this perk can be rediculus, but yeah it is mostly killer sieded exept the hooks. If they ever killsitch midwich they need to fix hook spawns. (For example the hooks spawns work the same, but they spwan without looking on the top floor)

Since they started allowing Hooks to spawn inside the classrooms, I haven't had an issue.
Likewise, calling this map anything other than dreadfully Killer-sided is simply wrong.

I wouldnt call it DREADFULLY killersided, because killers doesnt have very much good maps compair to survivor. If they balance the most survivor sided maps, than it would be wrong not changing midwich, but until this happends midwich must stay as it is.

It's pretty Killer-sided.
Pretty much every pallet is either unsafe or a death trap. The map is indoors, there's limited LoS and few windows.

Yes Midwich hasnt the best pallets, but many. If the survivors are smart and efficient these unsafe pallets are enough to win the game.
Also Indoor isnt only bad for survivors. It depends on the killer if the map good or bad for them. Blight on midwich can be rough and midwich for nurse its straied up the greatest think that ever happen to nurse.
