Depip should be gone
Getting a depip while playing survivor when you are trying hard but your team is not, or the killer tunnel or face camp you is too unfair. The only acceptable reason for it should be dc, it is already hard to get a pip in higher grades.

There's basically no way to implement an automated system to account for things that you don't like happening to you. Should instead consider just not caring about pipping. Especially since they've made it so that grades are no longer important aside from a very small BP bonus when reset occurs.

It is completely possible, it is just make that players don't depip unless they dc, as you said, it is not something too important, doesn't affect matchmaking, but it is unfair for those who care and have to see their grade depip because some people play bad, dc, or a killer decide to tunnel. So, since the system is not too relevant for gameplay, a change like that wouldn't hurt.

I doubt detecting DC is hard at all.
