Iridescent head
It's no secret that pretty much everyone thinks iri head is unhealthy in the state where it insta-downs survivors at the cost of reducing ammo count. It leads to some very unfun moments where people don't even get a chance to play against it. It also makes camping very easy to do and painful to deal with. I think this addon is the only glaringly problematic huntress addon but I think there's potential for a cool rework to it. I'd love to hear other people's ideas too! I have two ideas myself:
1) Iridescent head should only insta-down for shots past a certain range. This would reward you for going for skillful long shots. It would also eliminate face camping hooks with iri head hatchets. However, this could still be used to camp, just from a range; I could see this being problematic. It would also be an addon limited by certain maps as some maps just straight up don't allow these long shots (e.g. Lery's would render it close to useless). If this were to be the new iri head then it would need hatchet count to be rebalanced too as 1 hatchet limit is too much of a nerf for this effect. I'm not sure what number would balance this well. Maybe 4 hatchets?
2) Iridescent head could combine a bunch of huntress addons that give status effects, similar to how doctor has the iridescent king addon combining the different madness effects from his addons. This could be a cool addon for confusion and some slowdown. Again, the hatchet count would have to be rebalanced. I think it could be a problem if the addon feels overwhelming or annoying for the survivors.
That's all I can think of for now. Any ideas?

I mean I don't really see an issue with it. Huntress with the skill to effectively use Iridescent Hatchets is pretty rare, and honestly if they are that good with their hatchets, they maybe save what 5 seconds? They are going to hit you again as soon as the cooldown is over.

I like your first idea. Camping from distance gives way better possibility to actually miss. So it would reduce the problem significantly. Now the question is about fair distance - deathslinger's iri addon comes to mind - making the distance same sounds readonable (and 4 hatchets is not bad too)

A lot of people enjoy playing against the huntress because she has a healthy amount of counterplay to her. Iri head kinda takes away a lot of that by removing the ability to take the first hit and make distance or reach cover with that first hit. It turns the chase into either the huntress hits her shot and the survivor goes down or the survivor dodges it and presses W, which seems like a lot more of a boring chase at least in my opinion. It is also undeniably unfun to deal with if the huntress player camps a hook with it. Even if your hatchet count is down to 1, the pressure of going down from full health rather than getting injured makes it strong and unfun. At least that’s what I think of it.

I think it’s the better of the two ideas too! It might have to be a tiny bit more than deathslinger addons distance especially if it’s gonna be 4 hatchets but I think it would be good because at the range that you’d have to hit those hatchets there’d be more room the dodge them.

it's a fine add on stop whining. Just get better at dodging.
