An Idea for a Sadako Buff

As Sadako is still definitely deserving of a fair buff, what if they made it so she is entirely invisible and has no lullaby while within range of a powered TV? This would slightly encourage people to pick up tapes a bit more, otherwise they might be grabbed more often like Ghost Face and Wraith sometimes do.

A little strong, but they could have it so that she makes no sound while manifesting either while also within range of a powered TV.

I think Sadako would be fine, if everytime she hit someone out of her stealth the TV with the least cooldown reactivated (weaker version of the Iridescent Videotape).

Buff base sadako and nerf condemn sadako. As it stands, onePumpWillie shows she is not weak by any definition (but only OP boring playstyle on her). It's similar situation to tombstone (piece) meyers vs anything else (even if it's not AS bad).

They definitely need to change Condemn-Only Sadako and then buff Base Sadako, but I'm not sure how they'll change her. Almost any killer is actually like that: they can keep slugging each survivor over and over until they die on the ground or DC. It's sweaty play, and that works when the killer is more skilled than the survivors.

And I think Sadako is still weak overall, even with the Condemn playstyle. It's still very hard to knock people down when they're skilled. She may need a small buff to her chase kit.

if you do not demanifiest i.e stay uncloaked, this add-on provides you with oblivious when in 8 meters of TV. you won't hear lullaby and she will have no terror radius. your suggestion is an add-on except it has drawback which is that when TV is deactivated, the oblivious is disabled.

Sadako relies on survivors who are bad at looping m1 killers and have no situational awareness of her lullaby or the audio cue that plays when coming out of television. The killer is effectively balanced off new/very bad survivors. All her variables are super safe from down to her 100 second cooldown TV'S to her flickering invis at loops chase power.

according to wiki, these are her invis numbers. supposedly if you combine her cloak+linger invis, the total invis time is 1.75 seconds. that is nowhere need near enough invis time to do a mindgame. On top of that, decloaking slows sadako's m/s down so chaining her invis is impractical. Its mostly case of under-tuned chase numbers paired with directional lullaby being invis at loops pretty pointless. Like I said its balanced for weak survivors. Funny aspect is people still complaining about her even though the killer is m1 loopable.

Sadako has a tiny problem called iridiscent VHS tape. Her strength varies a lot depending on this add-on. The best way to buff her would be making the tv cooldown lotería and making the condemned status effect an actual threat instead of the meme it is without the build centered around it.

Removing the lullaby would be fitting. The demanifested state is a much weaker cloaked state after all, and a comoensation may be necessary other than teleporting to televisions once in a looong time before you can use that tv again.

The best place to start is to nerf Iri Videotape down to 1-2 tv refresh and then buff her basekit cds for TVs this way she has better map pressure without needing an addon.

Just remove lullaby, done. Why does she have it anyway?

Remove lullaby, speed decrease when manifesting or introduce an add on that buffs her speed coming out of a tv

I do know a lot about Sadako as I partially main her. However, I don't use many add-ons other then the Cabin Sign and Old Newspaper almost every time, as those honestly give her a lot of help, though the add-on you mentioned is annoying, as I have faced it myself.

I did not think super deeply about my idea as it randomly popped it my mind when facing one the other day, but making her stronger around TVs might help her in the long run because it'd slightly urge people to pick up tapes more often, giving them more condemned. Obviously, she'd need other changes, though.
