Another Stalking Killer?
Granted this definitely doesn't mean anything but, let's say the eye is a "teaser" is it another killer who stalks and watches you? I could think of one very popular character who fits that.
Alien would be a bigger license for the anniversary for sure but, Slender Man would make a very fun and unique killer. Slender as the main killer, Lauren as the survivor, Kate as a legendary Legion Skin, and Oakside Park as the map.

It was just someone asking to reveal the chapter teaser and that was there response to it. This was posted on the weekly shrine update.

Kinda hope it is a teaser then and not just some goofy person leaving their tweet in "seen"

I think you're overthinking it. It more than likely keep an eye out, because they are likely announcing the anniversary stream soon.

Slenderman would be interesting - stalking and teleporting combined as this is what he does, after all. We'd have a very powerful killer for sure!

I think I might lose my mind if we get another surveillance killer after the last two flopped.

Penny…eyes? Pennywise confirmed

This would be absolutely one of the worst chapters. Slenderman was scary for like a day in 2016 now it's just a dead meme with weird licensing issues and basically not a single consistent power portrayal in any media featuring it.

I immediately thought about he Little Nightmares logo
Though yeah it probably just means ‚keep an eye out‘

It is a single emoji of an eye. It could literally mean anything. For all we know it means the killer is a cyclops and it has nothing to do with gameplay.

You're probably right and it's why said doesn't mean anything but, it's cool to speculate it.

If you're referring to his terrible movie I can agree with you it wasn't very scary. However, when it was 2012 up to 2014 this was what kept people interested cause his original game The Eight Pages and The Arrival which is still decently creepy to this day.

God I'm getting old.
Slender games just never did it for me, walking jumpscare horror games were never for me. I remember vaguely thinking the Slender lore could be alright with fleshing out into an actual character, but it never really progressed and then Blair Witch got a revive and offered the same feel with better presentation. Then kids started committing Slender based IRL crimes and the trash movie is when I knew that Slenderman had jumped the shark and fell off a cliff.

They didn't do the movie justice sadly. So much was cut from the film that it lost it's potential very fast. If the movie was inspired by the actual story of the game or other medias it could've been better. However, the idea of the movie was unique we've not seen this kind of format in Slender but, it just didn't cut it.
