There's a broken 3 gen setup that killers have been abusing

for an example, here's a video from zubat about it

Honestly if this kind of RNG disable maps, more than half the maps would be disabled.

This isn't something being abused. This is just bad map design. I've seen ridiculously close three gens spawn on most maps. And yes I've utilized them to win as well. But even from a killer standpoint I can say bhvr should do something about a more even gen spread

It is absolutely being abused lol, they know it's unfair and bad map design and still chose to spend all the game in one corner gatekeeping the area

"our team didn't break 3g so bhvr need to disable the map"

It's called good game sense. Would you rather the killer run off to the other side of the map and purposely throw the game on a chase just so you have more of a chance? No. Don't be ridiculous. The killer is going to do what is best for him to win. The devs do need to address gen spawns but they also need to address things like survivors purposely going down in areas where they can't be hooked and such. I don't say these survivors are abusing something either. They are just doing what is logical for them to win.

I mean, did you see the video? Every gen was in range of Deathslinger. They could all probably be covered by 1 SM drone. That particular setup was just... what the #########.

This thread is making my brain hurt. No, this is not grounds to disable the map. Yes, the generators are abnormally close together and we should be asking BHVR to enact a more strict gen spacing requirement algorithm for this map. Yes, 3 gens are a part of normal DBD gameplay. And no, the extent to which how close these gens are is not the normal "acceptable" kind of 3 gen gameplay.

How can you break it if the killer gatekeeps it the whole game? Is it that hard to comprehend? I went against a Hag who used an offering and all she did was trap a corner of the map until two of my teammates DC'd, real fun gameplay. Some killers are clearly aware that you have a huge chance of getting a broken 3 gen on this specific map. The gens are so close that she barely had to move.

I’ll be real about 3 gens 9/10 times it’s the survivor’s fault

nah the only maps i know that has broken 3 gen is Saloon (behind the hang-man) & the game (very close gens with dead ends)
doesn't mean that broken 3 gens can't spawn on other maps, but on the two maps they almost always spawn broken, I'm generally not a friend of the gens spawning too close, but the gens shouldn't be 40m apart either , it's like the bad rng in dbd, team A can get 20 pallets on gas heaven while team B only gets 8 pallets, just unfair and badly done by bhvr, rng can stay in as far as I'm concerned but not two different worlds please, well I digress from the topic xDD

That is nothing. New Blood Lodge spawns always a 3 Gen around shack and often a 4gen or even a 5gen

This isn’t grounds to disable the map but that 3-gen is ridiculous and shouldn’t be possible.

in the garden of joy, you can run from the killer for several minutes without using pallets, strangely, the survivors do not resent this and do not say "You need to turn off the map"

What in the skill issue

In that case we should disables Dead Dawg, MacMillan (Suffo Pit can have a nasty one if survs stick to one side), Auto Haven, Lerys, RPD...... All maps can have gross 3 gens if RNG permits it.

Garden of Joy is less of a skill issue and more of a classic "devs forgot to consider how buildings chain to the tiles"
The stronger killers in the game can somewhat circumvent the issues Garden of Joy has, but lots of killers just don't have a real response other than avoid the building and try to catch you out somewhere else.

And that is exactly what you can do, I agree goj is bs but that was one hell of an exaggeration from them
