What do you think about the new killer power?
It's like a camera turret that you can set up (idealy next to gens or main building) and then shot on Survivors. If you hit them, they get infected (which also spreads on other Survivors like a Plague if they interact with each other). The killer then can teleport next to a infected Survivor. There doesn't seems to be anything beyond that otherwise it would be probably mentioned in the making off chapter segment of life stream.
Your thoughts?

Too early.
I need to wait until at least the PTB to even begin to formulate an opinion.
The Killer looks cool though

I am just hoping he is not another 3-gen camper. He looked like it a bit but i need to see in PTB first.

As always, the details could make or break it. But it's promising. It doesn't seem like it would be useful for zoning or defending gens. Just hoping it turns out to be a little more in line with Pinhead and less in line with Freddy.

The live stream chat seemed to think it sounded like another skull-merchant playstyle.
Based on what we've been shown so far, it does look like a mix between skull-merchant and onryo. As long as the killer can place at least 3 cameras, survivors can expect all 3 to be set-up with prime view on a 3-gen--especially on dense maps with poor LOS.
It remains to be seen how survivors interact with the killer's power, and what the limitations are for placing these cameras.
My first reaction, without really knowing the power, is that this killer would be better suited for an objective system that forces survivors to traverse the map more frequently--e.g. instead of sitting on gens, survivors need to pick up broken parts and carry them from one part of the map to the next. There is the potential for this killer to play similar to Hag, where cameras are placed in areas the killer zones survivors towards. But given the nature of the game, I can't see many people putting these cameras in places that don't have LOS on at least one generator.
Therefore, I'm inclined to believe we are looking at another 3-gen king.

Looks like yet another killer that can only downs survivors with M1. Oh joy...

Oh boy, finally a Killer who can teleport

Looks awesome. Personally I can't wait to seem him have no anti loop amd get genrushed with the current cast of DBD. All these horror icons reduced to nothing but cash cow thanks to bvhr. I never thought Freddy Kruger would get genrushed and not be the power role. That's survivors

I'm not sold yet. I'll play the killer on the PTB and see how it feels. Hopefully it'll be fun for both sides.
I really hope it won't end up like Knight or SM, that are neither fun to play or play against for a lot of players.

Like everyone's saying, we need to wait until we can play them. I do hope that you can also just fire them on your own and be able to use them as a way to infect them from afar and teleport like a huntress and hag situation. That would be so sick.

Honestly I feel like he is going to have some sort of stealth mechanic because in the trailer it got real close and he didn't even notice

A potential skull merchant pt. 2 (knight pt 3). But we need to see it in action.

Looking forward to seeing ptb footage. I just really hope it doesn't turn into another m1 killer who is geared towards the 3 gen crutch.
