Pig's Ambush should not count as a Special Attack
Pig is struggling quite a bit right now, and I don't quite understand why Ambush counts as a Special Attack. I get it for a Killer like Nurse, but Pig? It's already hard enough to get value out of Ambush since people already know if you're trying to use it as an anti-loop just run away and you win chase. It's used only for well, Ambushing. Allowing basic attack perks to work with Ambush really would help Pig a lot, without making her OP.

Also Counterpoint: Just un-crouch and M1 normally, her anti-loop is awful to begin with.

That... will never happen. The devs have actively gone back and made Sub Basic attacks such as an Ambush count as Special attacks for consistency. With Nurse's Nerf, I'm not sure how many confirmed exceptions are left (if any).

I mean... yeah the stacks point is actually fair. Can be a good thing sometimes.
M1 normally really makes me wince in pain as Pig on some maps.

Getting hits with Pig to begin with can sometimes be tricky on certain maps. But to be fair, Pig is not really well designed, they are a "Jack of all Trades, Master of None" as some would say, if you want slowdown, stealth, and/or anti-loop there are just better and more reliable Killers.

I'd rather make her crouch/stand faster and roar when she dashes, not when she charge dash. That way she could be decent in chase.

If her roar started like a third or half way into her ambush, that alone makes her better.

Her roaring as she charges I feel would give too little of a warning. I think it would be better to reduce the time between the roar and her charge instead.

One of her addons makes Ambush feel really good to use, and it makes it nearly instant to cast and without it it's rough sometimes. Especially since you kinda have to run Fearmonger or they'll just Sprint Burst away if on a gen.

Deathslinger, kind of. I tend to regard the spear itself as the special attack, but it's similar to Nurse in that using it to facilitate M1s his primary way of downing survivors.

I'm not entirely sure. You can hit a survivor besides the one you speared and it's a completely normal attack. So does that mean the attack itself is basic and the spear applies a "debuff" that causes M1s to inflict DW for a brief moment? Or is it an actual Sub-Basic attack like Nurse's or Pig's?

The Spear itself is the special attack, since Survivors can break away from it and still be hit with the Deep Wounds effect. The Spear itself gives the debuff, his attacks don't change at all.
