Feedback: Behaviour main income should be cosmetics instead of perks.

Monetizing character power if definition of p2w

Even Lol has something like that in terms of early runes that was able to be bought by extreme grind or by real money, and they removed it, leaving monetization to skins.

I really cant understand p2w policy and especially why some people defend it.

All perks should be available to everyone upon chapter release (i would say that killers too, since they hold different powers), and chapters and whole monetization should come from skins and survivors.

This is fine when you consider only original content - but they bring licensed content into this game that they have to pay for and want to earn money on and they also want to attract new potential licenses. If they made Wesker available to everyone on release with all his perks and only made money via his optional cosmetic content, I doubt they're going to make anywhere as much the money they make with their current system.

Also you can be competitive with the base survivor perks in this game. Sprint Burst/Adrenaline/Prove Thyself/Unbreakable are all free perks to name 4 - they also give you Nurse which is undoubtedly one of the strongest killers without a reliance on perks to win.

Would I be against them making all their original content accessible without me having to pay for new ones? No - of course not, it's a win/win for me as a consumer, but I understand they're a business and chances are they have data on what makes them the most money out of their chapter releases.

Your system also cuts elements of progression out of the game. Some people, whether you agree with it or don't, enjoy earning and unlocking things. They want to level up that new survivor to get something new that impacts their gameplay. It's a reason for them to keep playing. Just handing everyone T3 perks the moment a chapter is out is going to turn certain players away and make them not want to continue playing.

I can totally see your concern - especially if they now start balancing perks more frequently over the next year or so and the new 'strongest' perks are locked behind paid content, so I definitely see where you're coming from, but I don't think it's a clear cut P2W issue at the moment. 'Winning' in DBD is entirely possible with the base content.

best perks in the game come from free base characters, not to mention you cannot buy bloodpoints, I reckon they did a good job.

Also the grind is what keeps alot of people on the game. That slow progression. Watching a window full of perks fill up. Whether we like it or not it's a system that keeps some of us here until I have everything unlocked. Addiction is one way to keep a player base.

My only 2 problems with DBD monetizing is solo surveiwer chapters and the price on basegame

the solo surveiwer chapters cost the same as killers and in both cases of the surveiwer chapters they had a overpowet peck that made everyone buy them.

as for the base game I just think asking 20 erou on steam is extremly over price for what you get

I WOULD like bHVR to release some perks to the general perk pool instead of having new Killers being forced into carrying them, like zanzhin tactics for Oni or basically all Wraiths perks. It completely devalues them as Killers.
