Flashlightsave question
Did they remove the timing on flashlight saves? I'm asking because i just played a game against 3 flashlights and i downed one relativly quick and picked up but then two guys came out of bushes and started blinding me. I was blinded as the survivor was on his way to my shoulder and i thought "well u messed up because u two both wanted the save" but to my suprise they somehow got it. The only explanation i can think of is that they removed the timing but they wouldn't do that, would they?

They made it more forgiving, to make up for the flashlight nerfs in other areas I think

You can do it up to 0.4 seconds too early now and still get the save. It's only for doing it too early though - if you're too late, you're too late.

having to time it well made survivors sad, so they made it much easier to pull off so survivors would be happy

Oh no, those damn survivors!

Removing locker flashlight saves and flashlight click spam was too heavy a nerf so they had to make easier to land flashlight saves as compensation.

It was actually to account for server latency and to ensure that it was a smoother gameplay element overall, as previously you'd be blinded despite having turned away because the blinds were calculated on the survivors end. Allowing for the little window means the system could be adjusted much better for when higher latency is in play and would cause otherwise very wonky and unfair interactions.

Huh didn't realise they'd changed it. It's defo still possible to fail it though. Had a jonah botch a flashlight save attempt when I was playing twins yesterday, got the blind but I still had the surv

They made it so easier to the point I can FL save now.
