Anti-camp can't come soon enough
I'm so sick and tired of killers hookcamping in every match. I'm losing pips back to back cus of slugging, tunneling, hookcamping at 5 gens, or tunneling then mori afterwards. Now I hope they add anti-slug mechanic to the game too to further decrease this toxic slugging playstyle.

I agree those should be addressed but you have to also give the killers something else they can utilize. Gen defense is garbage now. I'm all for those changes, but killers do need something

What stops killers from abusing this new mechanic? What if they let the bar fill on purpose so they can tunnel someone out faster than normally? Blight and nurse can down and rehook someone faster than the time it takes to progress a hookstage

In reality, this change will only affect killers face camping you the moment they hook you. If they leave the hook and come back to face camp you, the bar won't fill up in time, so this change won't make a difference most matches.

Killers are dominating games atm. So ofcourse survivors will get some buffs. What you expect? Nerfing weak side?

Yeah, remove camping, slugging and tunneling from the game.
I hope you'll like gen times increased by 20 seconds more, because that's what BHVR will have to do to keep people playing killer without any ways to get extra advantage.

I play solo que exclusively these days and I can honestly say I don't see the rampant camping these forums cry about at all. I think you are making it up. Securing second state or a kill when your teammates left you on the hook for 90% of the current hook state isn't the killer camping, it's him punishing you and your team for being fools. I think most of the people who cry about camping on these forums are just pissed off because they are bad and die often.

Its not a automatic jump off. The survivor gets a option of "guaranteed escape." Allowing to them to jump off at say the last second. Granting them any unhook safe measures (like endurance and haste) so theres no option for the killer to not lose everything because the survivor can also do this in second state when they are hooked again. And if their team is gen inclined i could see all the gens being done before the first persons dead. (If they wait till the last second for both jump offs and last long enough with the anti tunnel measures)

When they revealed it the last time , killers were dominating. This was before Dead Hard, CoH and healing nerfs.

I personally always felt that if they rewarded the survivor for not being able to play the game like extra BP/Safety pip at worst it would sting a lot less. The issue is you can get camped out the match first hook and leave with 2000 BP and de-pip. If you are being tunneled from start of match and run the killer for five gens you still have less than 10k and a de-pip. Adding mechanics against these starts is the right call no doubt but fixing the BP/PIP in these situations is just as important IMO. Now that I think of it Depipping needs to go anyhow.

I knew this was coming. Yes. But why we are acting like all gen perks nuked?
PR, Deadlock, Jolt are still strong perks. Pop is still here and there. Sloppy rised to meta for make healing slower. I am not saying this meta is strong as gen kick meta. But we still have some decent anti-gen perks.

Guys, you shouldn't look at killrate statistics BHVR are showing to us. After the MMR implementation it means absolutely nothing. If there were three killer players in the game, and it were Otzdarva, Truetalent and Ralf, and everyone else just left because the game is horrible and they don't get paid for playing it, killrates would be at 99,99%.

I don't know or care, haven't played since Dec '19.
So i don't judge balance (except pop which is from a pure logical standpoint a joke compared to before with it's current gen progress) but arguing as if only one side got something taken or added is always BS.
Edit: And back to our original point, saying that killer are domineering at the moment is just anecdotal speculation since it has been such a long time since the last official data release and the myriad of changes in the time since then.

personally I believe you can't expect "no trolling/baiting" rules to work in this forum, there is no real method to know whether it's the one or not so mods never deal with anything except the one that is obviously and literally against rules, I don't know why that rule is still there even.

anti slug only if there's two Survivors left so slugging for the 4k is less popular? sure but otherwise at any point in the game you don't deserve a free unbreakable if you or your entire team got slugged you played terribly.
