Why can't I hear Survivor voicelines?

I just think making her teleports unable to go through solid objects without an iri addon would be enough really, and even then she'd still be broken.

That was the iridecent addon for 3 blinks at one point. and nobody used it. why? because it was a nightmare on all indoor maps or even on normal maps with large structures. Her base-movementspeed is just too low for this. Imagine playing on Midwich, hearing a gen above you, needing both blinks to go to a staircase and then walk all the way up with 95% and then blink again. Same goes for Lery's.

the nurse is not a nightmare, this minde game is a killer, face the fact that you cannot win by simply dropping all the pallets, and start thinking
the easiest way is to run behind the wall and then run out to meet the nurse, even such an easy move will allow you to dodge quite often
and don’t do 1 and the same tactics all the time
again, this is minde game killer
if you have no idea how to outwit the nurse at all, then start playing as her see what people are doing, or think under what conditions it would be most difficult for you to catch a survivor
then return to the role of survivor and use the information received

there is no mind game with the current hit validation, the hits she gets with how fast she travels she is always hitting where you used to be, Until the server tick rate is increased she has no right being as powerful as she is.
She can hear you through walls and people will still run several aura reading addons, there will never be mindgames with the current synergy she has. Only answer is to run distortion, or Off the Record, and running a single perk for one killer who isn't played often just isn't worth it.
There would be more mind games if she couldn't phase through walls tbh, that wouldn't stop her going through windows and pallets lmao

I don't think BHVR wants to change how she plays on a fundamental level. Which makes sense as players have spent a lot of time getting good with her. The best thing to ask for is some sort of additional weakness to try and offset her offensive capabilities.
When I did the survey which asked about the Nurse, I suggested they give her temporary scratch blindness after entering fatigue. That way she still plays the same, but Survivors are rewarded more for avoiding her blinks. It would keep her offense intact but would gives Survivors more counterplay.
There may be better ways to weaken her, but that's the best idea I have.

You know the nurse is pretty slow, right? she is considered a fast killer only because she can walk through walls
anyway my advice still works
instead of saying "I can't play so bhvr pls nerf"
try to play turn on the brain when you run and play for it to better understand how to dodge better
even the most banal and easy option to run to the nurse works in most cases

dude have you seen knightlight play nurse? try to play mind games with him. lately I have only met such nurses. and there is no need to build a great runner out of yourself, how many times 1 × 1 it turned out to be wrong

Nurse's lunge is always crazy after a blink. I think that's more of a hit validation issue but it obviously becomes miserable really quickly. Also the high skill ceiling makes Nurse mains so scary to go up against because they can learn your playstyle and it's basically game over...

Nurse must be removed from the game.
It is the only broken killer of the game, the only one you cannot do anything against most of the time.
It needs to be completely reworked to work with the general DbD's mechanics (looping) and if impossible it has to be removed.
At this point, playing the nurse is pretty much an exploit.

Every killers are meant to get you, it's the matter of time.
And, nurse really isn't that much faster than anything else in that term, especially on usual players.

You really think that would be fine?
Have you ever even played Nurse? She would be so useless it hurts even thinking about it.

I do play nurse, she'd not be useless, she'd be fair lmao
Like even if only the 1st teleport goes through walls it'd be a step in the right direction.

Contrary to popular belief, nurse has counterplay. nurse takes the core skillful aspects of chase and tunes them to the maximum, mindgames. Shes based entirely around predicting the survivors location and maintaining line of sight. Her counterplay includes:
- Breaking line of sight. This way, she is forced to blink for LOS and use the second to hit you. Meaning that you can double back, break los again, and do everything else that counters her while she doesnt have the second blink as a corrective safety net.
- Double backing. Pretty simple one, just rotate between double backing or choosing not to. That way she will have no idea what you are gonna do and will have to predict you. At which point you need to predict her actions and move accordingly. If you are good reading the killer then she will either be forced to do a risky long charge second blink, or go into fatigue and wait for a more secure hit.
- Faking vaults. This is something that works pretty well. Most nurses will just blink right behind the vault thinking they'll be able to hit you either way, but if done right she needs to use the second blink to do so. At which point you can 360, double back, go in a locker etc.
- Lockers. Actually stupid effective. Just jump in a locker when you hear her charge up/blink. She cant open it until after her fatigue happens, so if you wait to make sure shes in fatigue then you can hop out and continue the chase.
- Tall Wall loops. All of them have built in LOS breakage as a gameplay mechanic.
- W gaming. Making as much distance as you can until at a LOS breaking loop is very strong. She has to charge up a lot to catch up. If you've broken line of sight, you can force the second blink or double back. Both of which she is gonna have to deal with. Do this until at a good loop and she cant just down you for free.
- Pallets. To a very small extent, pallets can counter nurse. She can be stunned mid blink after all, and in after the blink but before the fatigue. If play around well you can force the second blink and play for a stun when she lunges. And if she doesnt, fatigue.
All of this combined makes her counterable. Its only unfair if you dont know how to play around her. YOu can break line of sight into a double back, or a triple back even (where you fake the double back so she half blinks) so she has to use the second blink or is completely out of range. You can force the second blink then double back. Really, if you break LOS then regular killer counterplay can work pretty well on her. Force second blink into a window fake, do that into a locker etc etc etc. Theres a lot that can be done against her. Just break LOS and play unpredictably.

it would just take the skillful part of her kit and get rid of it. If she predicted where you were, then you lost the mindgame.

You cannot outplay a Nurse. There are choke points where she can TP on all Jungle Gym/shack/loop and she will always have a line of sight.
You can juke bad nurse, a good one will be unbeatable and you won't do more than 3 gens.
