Hatch spawn mechanic should be reworked

Since its happening in far more than half of my matches that 2 or 3 survs are left in a 100% already lost game and the Killer just slugs until everyone is downed (often leads to people bleeding out after 4min of not being able to play the game) i think its time to look at the hatch spawn mechanic.

Hatch should spawn when there is one survivor left standing, not when 3 people are sacrificed, maybe with a slight delay but definetly NOT only when 1 surv is left alive. It would solve all the problems regarding slugging people for the 4k, people that play the game "as intendet" (yes, slugging someone for 4 minutes to completely avoid hatch mechanic is NOT intended by the devs) would not be punished and people being toxic for no reason would start thinking twice about the unnecessarey time waste of 2-3 other people.

    Personally think the hatch should just be completely removed, instead, both exit gates are able to be opened as soon as 3 survivors are sacrificed, which makes it more skill-based than luck based, there are meta perks such as no way out that would help the killer, a few more that would help survivors as well whilst there is nothing to aid finding a hatch other than an offering.

    Generally a good idea that i wouldn't mind, but that would not solve the problem of avoiding the "last man standing" situation by slugging. For me personally, its not about giving or taking the possibility of getting a petty escape, i couldnt care less, if we lost the game then we lost, the problem the act of constant slugging to avoid certain mechanic.

    Should be an option to "bleed out" after a minute and a half of being slugged, saves time.

    This is such a horrible idea.

    If i need a 4k, especially due to a challenge, I want that 4k. And just because the game literally favors survivors when the killer does well, i need to slug the last guy too in hopes of getting that last kill.

    If the killer manages to kill 3 people before the last gen pops, THEY WON. The hatch is literally a free escape for survivors that lost the game. What do killers have? Do i get an button spawn on the map that kills one random survivor after the last generator pops? Why do survivors get to escape? Its literally a mess when you have a 4k challenge.

    Even worse, when the killer finds hatch, unless you can watch both gates at the same time, which is rare, the survivor wins. You go to the furthest gate with obstructions, wait for the killer to patrol, get a free escape and keep your MMR. The killer cant even do anything when they find hatch if the survivor wants to guarantee an escape and camp next to a gate. If you close it, sometimes a gate opens up by the time you walk there even if you hold down on M1 straight away.

    Here's what it comes down to:

    • Survivors teabag at gates if they get all gens
    • Survivors teabag on hatch if they find it first
    • Survivors wait next to gate if killer finds it first, teabag at gate

    What can a killer do?

    • Stand on top of hatch

    There's literally NOTHING you can do when the gates are far from each other/obstructed. If you find hatch, the guy escapes with gates. If you dont find hatch, the guy escapes through hatch.

    Why is this a thing? Dont get me wrong, i like giving hatch to survivors whom i think deserve it. But that doesnt mean i want an RNG free escape for survivors, ESPECIALLY because i simply won the game. If i deserve the 4k, i want the 4k.


    Hopefully next time before you post something about hatch, you first offer yourself to the killer on your next 4 man escape lobby.

    Congratulations, you missed the ENTIRE point of the suggestion. Hopefully next time before you post something you at least read what the post is about and try to understand the intentions behind it.

    Back to the Topic: The mechanic of spawning the hatch delayed after one last surv is standing will give the killer enough time to hook the down and look for the last surv before the hatch even spawns, making the 4k slug not necessary. And like i said in me previous response (which you also completely ingored 'cause ure too upset with the suggestion and just mindlessly started typing), i'd be completely fine with ANY change as long as the result is not being slugged for up to 4 minutes. Also when im the one slugged its hard to "offer myself to the killer".

    I dont know why you are so defensive about this topic, its not about denying the killer the 4k, its about changing the mechanic to avoid constant slugging for the 4k, having one surv spend 2-4 minutes on the ground every second match is a bad mechanic, and the blame is the way the Hatch works, that should change.
