10 rift fragments

Woooahhh did I read that right? One HUNDRED iridescent shards? Bhvr is gonna put themselves out of business being that generous
18 -
They really are way too conservative on giving these out lol
11 -
I know right? 89 more codes like -that- and you could buy one character.
19 -
Whenever the community decides events/outfits they always ask if we want the most bloodpoints or the most iri shards (most rift fragments is really useless and shouldn't even be mentioned) as if that's even a hard question lmao.
4 -
Is it surprising? This is a currency that can buy mostly the same things you buy with Auric Cells. Giving out Iri Shards means making less money.
0 -
Yeah im not that terribly surprised, but even if they added a 0 on the end it would be minimal impact. 1000 shards is basically nothing still honestly. If they gave out 1000 every other month (not that they would) you still couldn't get part of a decent outfit by the end of the year. Plus, they give out the currency for free the more you play anyways

I am happy about these at the moment.
I am again doing the rift on PC (64 atm) and PS4 (28 atm).

More to come throughout the month of Pride as well.
Thank you for this thread, great to have everything in one place! <3

I understand that you've mentioned you're releasing more throughout the month but it's... odd to release so many on day one but not release the gay and lesbian flags.
1 -
I think it's because the gay man one isn't in the files yet and they want to release that and the lesbian flags together. I think.
1 -
Thank you so much for sharing all these codes!

Wait wait

That agender flag is gonna go straight on my character/hooks !! I'm really happy it's there, agen is often forgotten =)
Now just to get my hands on an aro flag and I'll be happy as can be !
1 -
I'm happy with those charms, but genuine question though :
Why do the codes expire June 3 ? Why not let them throughout the month if it's, well, Pride Month ?
Is there only a certain number of codes that can be available at any time without breaking anything ?
1 -
The codes we get during streams are always only available for a short time, so I think it's because the charms (besides the flags) are "stream codes" from the Into The Rainbow stream rather than pride codes. (although you make a good point haha)

thanks

Sorry if I offend anyone, it's not my goal or something. I just wanted to know something. I also want you to know I have trouble expressing myself in English, since it's not my first language.
With all the pride things promoting inclusivity that's absolutely fine by me. But since every sexuality gets a flag, why is there no heterosexual flag? I mean, isn't the goal of inclusivity for all that everyone is included? Why exclude one sexuality?
1 -
Because heterosexual pride is basically every other day of every other month and socially considered so default that y'all have surpassed the need for a flag that serves a statement that you exist. Cause last time I checked heterosexuals weren't being constantly targeted by wider societal forces and told either be silent about your existence or die. When the Cishet folks experience the level of depersonalization, harm, and cruelty we've historically experienced. We'll make you colorful flag, until then go touch grass.

"Straight pride" was never a thing up until gay pride. "Straight pride" is never used to express joy and celebrate your own identity, but instead it's used as a weapon against marginalised communities whenever they attempt to do so. "Straight pride" was never societally needed, because heterosexuals aren't discriminated against throughout the world (legally and socially). "Straight pride" isn't a real thing, it's just an excuse for the majority to cram their way into a celebration of a minority, only to then remove them from the inside. "Straight pride" is literally this comic exactly.
"Straight pride" only exists because some people couldn't stand to be excluded from a community made to celebrate the aspects of society the same people would shun them for.
"Straight pride" is not a thing.

As a heterosexual person, what exactly do I need to be included in? I've never been at risk of being thrown into jail because of my sexuality. My life has never been in threat because of my sexuality. I've never been told I can't love who i love, or had barriers put in place so I couldn't marry who I want to marry. I don't need 'heterosexual pride' or a flag for being granted all the above privileges. Pride Month is about standing in solidarity with those who aren't afforded the privileges I'm afforded.
5 -
Thank you for your kind response. I'm not very educated at this matter, since I don't put much weight on someones sexuality. I treat everyone with respect and kindness if people return that to me as well. Everyone can be the person they want to be, in my eyes.
My humble thought process was, since I saw all those flags, "why is there no flag for heterosexual people". My question was never meant to take anything away from anyone, that's why I said in my first sentence that I didn't want to offend anyone.

I don't have to hide my offense, I'm a queer person in their mid 30's who is intimately familiar with results of civility when responding to the "Why is there not straight/hetero pride flag". I don't owe anyone civility on this topic and past experience has taught me that 9 times out of 10 y'all don't want civil discussion you want to question us in bad faith and get a rise out of us. I'm just skipping the BS a getting straight to the point rather than wasting my time actually trying to educate you. If you really cared and were coming from a sincere place of seeking knowledge you'd know better than to say what you said. So miss me with your holier than thou indignation.

While I get where you are coming from (I being genderfluid and bi) your approach is inappropriate and gets more people to look at you and the community you are a part of looking worse to others especially those who don't understand and actually want to understand it and those who are still figuring themselves out.
Not everyone has access to all forms of knowledge and some people who are not straight might still ask this question not because they are trying to be rude or inappropriate but because they genuinely didn't know either from their upbringing or because like I said earlier they didn't have access to said knowledge before asking about it
6 -
I used to have your point of view a long time ago and came from a background where that knowledge wasn't readily available to me in my day to day life. What I eventually understood I did have access to and should make use of to get knowledge is the internet. I'm going to hazard a guess that if the person from before is able to access the official dbd forum that they are in possession of or have access to a far better repository of knowledge to sift through than when I needed to start figuring this stuff out. The information is now more visible for all parties than it has ever been.
This isn't esoteric and arcane deep lore, this is day 1 surface level stuff. I'm not against educating people, but read what they wrote and then look at their response to me. It's boiler plate troll tactics everyone picks up online when they want to start a "discussion" is bad faith. I have wasted far too much time trying to be open and receptive in the hopes that these sorts who ask this type of question would reform their thoughts and actually learn something. It doesn't work 99% of the time because there was never a misunderstanding on their part and they don't really care about us in a way that allows them to be receptive to our experiences.
Do not give people who say that sort of thing on the internet benefit of doubt. They will use it against you pretty much every time.
