Moving from playstation to PC

Are there any plans for cross progression for playstation and steam any time soon? I want to switch so i can play on pc but I don't want to regrind everything I have gotten with over 3000 hours on playstation. Is there a way i can get a point compensation on pc or something? Im really torn on wether its worth abandoning all my progress for a more enjoyable playing experience as i prefer mouse and keyboard controls.

In theory - they are still working on it but can´t promise anything.

    Maybe a Sony (money) problem.

In reality - i wouldn´t wait for it.

I switched to PC and kinda do both accounts with more on PC. But i don´t want to abandon PS4.

Im and you, and a lot of people we are in the same situation. Honestly, i thought a lot already that and my advise to you, FORGET and conform yourself adn stay on playstation. You invested a lot of time of life, money doesn't care, you pay for those things after, but, 3k hours of your life they won't come back.

I and you and other a million people want change from ps4/5 to pc, and i think its a really big shame in that world you stay like a hostage your platform. I unfortunately dont expect this feature landing in this game, but it should. I really recommend you, try forget that. And not least. I don't believe on BHVR, for me they don't want crossprogression because they should have a financial disadvantage.

a lot of iconic symbol in this game? a lot of huge partners? and you cannot negotiate multiplatform saves? sorry, i dont believe it.

They dont hvae transparecy about that and just say " out of our control" Ok, why not clarify to community what of these reasons? so many people want this and they simples ignore any explanation about it, that conduct make me think more and more BHVR dont want crossprogression, because you dont see to much effort from BHVR to do this real

I have the PS4 Nightmare Edition disc and invested roughly like 1,200 hours on it. Lost all of it switching to PC and now the disc is worth $100+. I was going to buy a PS5 again after I moved to the US but the scalpers wanted at least $800 for one so I just built my own PC. It's a real shame.

I'd love to switch to PC. I have a great gaming PC and I've put in some time on my Steam account, but I have abandoned it for now, because I have 3K hours on PS4/PS5, and there's no way I'm giving up all the content I've earned on that profile. So much stuff I've earned and paid for, and stuff that may never be available again.

So yeah, I'm a Playstation player until cross progression becomes a thing (probably never).

I would love to get my Xbox account on PC because I have almost all characters unlocked on both killer and survivor with a lot of cosmetics and all my killers +5 or more prestige.

I'm not holding my breath for it to happen though and I did end up buying DBD on epic in a sale and bought all killers for around £40 and linked it to my Steam account. I'm pretty reluctant to actually invest anymore money into cosmetics though because I've already spent so much on my Xbox account & think it's a bit of a joke that I can't access all my progression and cosmetics on a game that is cross platform. If I could link or have both accounts merged I would definitely spend more money on the game, but as it stands I'm only playing PC now and won't be investing my cash on anything other than a single new killer purchase when new content drops. So they're effectively losing money by not allowing me to have all the stuff I've already paid for.

It's highly likely a Sony problem, Sony has been known to be stingy when it comes to "lost sales", etc.

Even when PlayStation games get crossprogression, there is typically limits placed on it, such as paid stuff not transferring. There was a post on a DBD leak subreddit (said post had no leaks though) that had a lot of major information. I'd post the link but since it's on a DBD leaker subreddit, I don't know if the devs would allow a link to it, even if said post references no DBD leaks.

Making the move isn't too bad. I have over 2 years progress on the Switch and umm'd and ahh'd over moving fully to the PS5. Ended up taking the plunge this year and doing it. The sucky thing was leaving all my charms and cosmetics behind (I have *all* the Stranger Things stuff on the Switch, while on the PS5 I just have basic Demo, Steve, and Nancy) and I'm holding onto hope I'll be able to transfer it all one day.

Now is probably the best time to make the switch as we have lots of bp coming in for the anniversary event. I'm currently P1ing everyone to unlock the rest of the perks I need.
