Survivors & Killers are both balanced, there is a different problem.

In fact, there are 2 different problems, the game is too reliant on perfect micro-skills in order to win with a killer (When playing against a good SWF) This is simply because it is 4 skilled players against 1 skilled player, you will be able to be efficient and useful. However this is the smaller problem as there are not many SWFs that can play like this, and it is rare to play against a full squad.

The main problem is maps, there are a few balanced maps that are not too big or too small, not too cluttered but not too empty, and have enough pallets to not make it OP. However, it is very inconsistent, there should not be maps that counter a killer's power, such as a lack of grass or rocks which would heavily counter the trapper. Indoor maps are worse for killers such as hilbilly. There simply should not be a great imbalance like this in dbd

In terms of survivors and killers being balanced, I am mainly talking about perks, and the majority of killers, certain top/bottom killers would require some addon buffs/nerfs. However, I cannot off the top of my head think of any broken perks for either side which have no counter.

What do you think?

I agree some maps are a big issue with Gideon meat plant one of the worst. It has way too many pallets and way too many of them are god pallets. Variations of corn on the con dreadful for ranged killers and shattered square hides scratch marks with all the red around the map. These are my least favourites but there are a lot of others I dislike as a killer.

Map design is abysmal almost across the board. The only maps I really like are father campbells, coal tower and dead dawg, the rest are either too dark, too visually muddy, too cluttered or just too friggin big, and even those three maps could stand some tweaking. out of all the other maps the only ones I find even remotely fun to play on are Ormond, Lerys and RPD because for the most part I can actually see what's going on unlike garbage maps like red forest, backwater swamp, azarovs, springwood or midwich.

I think maps are intentionally built to favor some killers and disfavor others. Which while annoying for lower tier killers like trapper is just the game philosophy the devs have.

That's the problem, something that is entirely RNG Based shouldn't really benefit or be a disadvantage towards killers/survivors

RNG, yes. I can take my best build and be prepared - hell, even an offering. The RNG is just something that can give me a bad result.
