Who do you think has the best addon kit in the game?

We hear many examples of bad addon kits such as Blight having many super busted addons, Executioner having very few viable addons or Myer's having tombstone piece but I'd like to talk about the opposite. Addon kits that have a variety of good options that give different play styles without feeling oppressive or unfair. My personal favourite is Dredge as each addon provides a different direction to play. There are many ways to build and play for nightfall and the different addons giving you different ways to stay in nightfall means every build has ways of utilising the best part of its kit. They're also several addons that give more generic bonuses to benefits in chase, infomation and debuffs. This allows you to play Dredge as a master of infomation, a killer that constantly flips between day and night or temporarly becomes the reaper during nightfall. You can play for a long game with debuffs and duration or a quick one with Haddie's Callender and nightfall charge, with the best part being that almost all of its addons are viable if you do play into them. My only real complaint is that dredge almost feels like it lacks direction without addons but if that's the price to pay for one of the best addon sets and build variety I'll take it.

    Wraith is the gold standard.

Every add-on can be used effectively and some of them are really creative. You can definitely see some influence on later add-ons.

Wraith and Hag have a lot that are simply number increases as the rarity goes up, which is more than welcome imo. It's probably one of them. I would have said old Hillbilly if it weren't for every single one of his addons getting changed.

I recently watched that otzdarva vid on the addons tierlist, and he made a pretty good case for Plague having lots of useful addons. Even a lot of the less good ones are still pretty usable. I'm biased on this last pick, but I think all of Ghostface's addons have a clear use after he got an addon pass, and I like the fact that his browns are all pretty good too.

I personally like plague's and Ghostface's too as there are a lot of fun options, I do feel like the irdescent seal is a tad much though and ghostface has some interesting greens that could be condenced or improved (namely Longlasting Perfume and chewed pen) however I do love both of these killers so I may also be biased. I'm personally whatever on Wraith and Hag as they're addons are balanced, useful and do allow different play styles but the actual variety is relatively low because you have sets of three addons that all do the same thing with different numbers. I don't mind two addons that do the same thing as that allows you to stack the effect if you wish but a third just feels super redundent and a waste of a slot, I would much rather these the addons be weak but unique than balanced but samey because then they're adding something new. I also have addons I very much dislike playing against on both, silent bell for wraith and shackles on hag, however they're fun to play against the first few times imo so idm as much.

Wraith, Hag, Huntress, Blight have, have no idea which one has the best kit.

I think original Freddy and Spirit had good options too.

Wraith & Hag. I think Plague may have some good ones too. Blight obviously has good add-ons but they're too good.

It goes against what you said in your post but if you delete the busted add-ons blight will still have the most diverse and playstyle impacting add-ons.

    Adren = complete kit change

iri tag = a high risk/high reward better bubba type gameplay

    C21 = aura reading

Vigos = stealth to a degree

Soul chemical = skill checks (even though the add-on doesn't function XD)

Blood favor add-on which really doesn't change much to be honest

His two meme add-ons destroying his kit

Other add-ons affected several different aspects of his base kit.

    I would say:

    1- Ghostface

    2- Blight

    3- Plague/Demo

To me addons need to offer different ways yo play and dont feel mandatory.

    Bottom

    Nemesis and Phead.

Nemi have no control of his addons, Phead are just bad.

Wraith, Myers and Doctor are my personal top 3. Almost all of their addons are useful and some allow for completely different playstyles.

Worst AddOn Kits? I think Billy, Bubba and PH.

I would almost agree with Myers but tombstone is one of the worse experiences in the game imo and I'm not a fan of how many addons just end up removing stalking as a mechanic such as the mirrors or infinite just removing stalk part way through the game which is a shame because it's a very flavourful mechanic. Doctor defiently has some fun addons which change everything up so I won't disagree with that although with him and wraith I don't like the redundancy with their options. Bubba I think has more useful addons than people give credit for however there is the issue of most those options being worse than chillis + Beast marks which are so generically good there isn't an amazing reason to run much else.

Doctor is a favorite of mine to go against purely for his addon kit.

I LIVE for double iri Doctors.

Ninja Doc is fun too although I've never had the pleasure of playing against one :'(

I'm afraid I'm not familiar with what Ninja Doc is, but I'm very interested !

    Blight and Wraith.

Although on a side-note Ghostface's brown Camera add-on is by far my favourite brown add-on of all the killers. It is SO good for a brown add-on. I wish we had more brown add-ons like that across the board for all killers. Where it's effective but not oppressive.

I believe it's using double calm addons with monitor and abuse to reduce your terror radius by 22 meters when your blast is off cooldown giving you a very small TR and sneak up on people.

Its really fun with thrill of the hunt. Face the darkness. And monitor. In chase fire off the shock to make a scream. Lowering your tr. Face the darkness makes them scream every 20 seconds if you have a low tr lol. Screamo doctor.

Wraith is a strong contender, all his addons are noticeabley transformative to his power, and each of them is useful in one way or another.

Doctor is also a strong contender for the same reasons. A large chunk of his addons adding new effects of madness makes his addons all feel unique.

Legion I don't think has the best addon kit, but deserves to be recognized still. A large chunk of his addons do unique things and can be decently transformative. Also the mixtapes changing his TR music is just the coolest thing ever.

Doctor has a good set-up for add-ons. His actual shock ones are bad.

    But Wrath is Good
