How about, we base gen speeds on killers?
Had this thought early while posting about genrushing. Some killers are far more vulnerable to getting genrushed than others. One of the reasons I almost never play twins is that it takes too long to get anything done. If you down survs with victor it often takes ages to find and hook them. Trapper is a slow killer and makes for a more tactical game. Whilst killers like nurse can end chases super quick, wesker has traversal, blight has both.
Ive suggested before a rolling handicap based on which team is winning, based on gen progress, hook states and how many survs are alive. But since a killer is a static factor in a game, i.e. they are there for the whole match and will not change, perhaps devs vould look at killrates, match times and gen progress times to identify which killers are suffering, and tweak to slow gen speeds in games involving those killers, or vice versa for killers that are dominating and perhaps buff gen repair speeds in their games.

This is kinda imposible. I mean if they look kill-rates Nurse has the lowest. Can you imagine 100 seconds gen time against good Nurse?

Extending repair times is not a good solution. It makes the matches even more like an M1 simulator. Map design is the key to fair matches.

This requires deeper thought on examination, I mean let's be realistic generator speeds have nothing to do with nurse having a low kill rate and that should be fairly obvious to anyone who has played her.

Yea so people who are trying to learn these “dominant” killers get absolutely wrecked every single game.
This is not a good suggestion.

What BHVR needs is balance gen speed perks with gen slowdown perks, like survivors and killers can stack this perks and make two scenarios:
1 - the amount of gens speed perks that survivor have (don't getting any nerf to compensate killers gen slowdown perks), making more difficult and force the killer to make less mistakes, because all the slowdown perks received nerfs, making the gens fly in most of the games and even more in high MMR.
2 - even with the slowdown perks nerf, a killer can have a pretty good combination of perks and slowdown to gain some time or even almost impossible to do gens.
But even with a good combination of perks and addons, a good killer can still have a hard time in most of his matches, because gen slowdown are nerfed and gen speed still the same for years.
For me BHVR needs to make balance around perks and addons to be equally balanced to both sides, instead of nerfing perks because 1 or 2 killers are good with the perk, because will affect all the others killers, making a weak killer more weak, like they do with nurse turning her a M2 killer
