Freddy is getting an update - A request

So, Freddy has been confirmed to be getting an update eventually. This is really good to hear, he's needed some love for a while.

I have a request to make, however. PLEASE bring back a way to play the Original Freddy. There could be an addon to revert his kit back to what it was, maybe with some small tweaks (like increased range, no auto wake-up when picked up from dying, for example). I loved his gameplay, he was my favourite killer in the game, and seeing him completely reworked with no way to play the original was such a shame. I still miss him to this day.

I know it's unlikely, but this is the one thing I want to see in Dead by Daylight the most, and I'd kick myself if I didn't take the chance to ask now.

    I never found any killer interesting like him, he was super fun

    Dont want the update to be like - xy is now 0,05% faster - slowdown is now 1,8 from 1,5...

    a lot of people hated the old freddy, i don't think they will bring it back.

    they have seen my post haha, jk, I hope they will make something fun with his power. Freddy is incredibly basic, and that's sad, because his character has a lot of potential.

    I think they could merge old freddy with new freddy. They could give him 8 meter aura reading whenever the survivor is in dream world but instead of pulling survivors into dream world, he would just hit people normally. They could also reduce his terror radius to old 24 meters and reduce his lullaby as well. If they're ambitious to go 1:1, they could also give dream world a very small action speed penalty for staying in dream such 10%. There you have it. you get new freddy with snares/fake pallet and teleport along with old freddy aura reading, a small action speed penalty and reduce TR.

    Both freddy into one. the post says no details so maybe its just slight improves to add-on and nothing more.
