This shows twins update isn’t just a simple number changes. This is a Freddy level rework. Im scared and excited at the same time.

I really would like to see any love for Trickster, he is frustrating for both sides a lot of times and hes top 3 less kill rate in this game. i hope BHVR give some love for Trickster soon

O don’t know if Im more excited for Twins or Freddy (prob Freddy since outside of a few recent games, I haven’t touched him since they reworked him… Really interesting killer from one time, I hope they go back to manually putting survivors to sleep and being invisible from a set distance again. Don’t even care about the slowdown)

I wouldn’t say it’s Freddy level as that was pretty much a deletion and completely new implemented. I don’t think we will see that kind of rework again. But yeah, it’s definitely more substantial than just number tweaks or minor adjustments a la Legion downing on fifth hit.

Take the word "rework" with a grain of salt, people. Reworks in this game are almost always just buffs rather than actual reworks.

Just a warning they never mentioned Freddy getting a rework. Probably just some minor buffs or something else

That's because most of the killers they reworked were killers no one played since they were too weak.

Finally Twins are getting a well deserved rework. The Freddy and Hillbilly changes sound interesting too. Hopefully Pig gets some buffs or a rework sometime soon as well.

So, devs can create an entirely new killer with entirely new mechanics every 3 months, but it takes 2 years to "rework" a character already in the game?

One word: money.
releasing chapters, especially those with big licenses (Resident Evil for example) bring revenue to the game and expand the player base. Whilst us long-time DBD players would love to have all our wishes answered (Trapper/Billy buffs, Freddy rework, etc), of course the devs are going to prioritise new content. It’s just economics.
Why invest time/money into a killer (in this case, The Twins) that are amongst the lowest picked in the entire game and was probably one of their poorest selling chapters, when that energy could go into a brand new killer which will, as I said, make the game more profitable. I’m not saying it’s right to ignore feedback/complaints from the core player base, but it logically makes sense.
