Still wondering why I'm facing high skill survivors
No matter what I do if I try I still face high skill survivors, if I give up and go to a corner and go AFK still face high skill survivors I can literally get my *** handed to me during a match and still face high skull survivors the next match...why I seriously try and don't try even just give up half way through when I realize they just did three gens while I got 2-4 hooks even then while pulling my hair out at the BS that is hit validation. So tell me why is it that playing killer sucks now or why I'm constantly being put against high skill survivors. Yes I've tried different times of day to face people from other parts of the world different killers and of course a lot of breaks max I've done is about a month break from killer.

Very strange. MMR takes about 5-10 games (losses) as killer to drop. But it’s always going to prioritize availability. If there aren’t weaker survivors playing, you’ll be paired with stronger players. It’s why killers clamoring for survivors to be needed often comes back to bite them: the nerfs don’t really harm SWF, just solo queue. And solo queue players are at least uncoordinated & at best mediocre. My advice is that you just enjoy the game as best you can.

I try to but playing killer isn't good and survivor is more roll of some bad weighted dice mostly getting a SWF that end up screwing me over because they get killed or DC at the very start.

The only advice I can give you to somewhat enjoy your survivor games is to find a SWF. You’ll at least have consistently there.

Do you have some grey add-ons you don't mind to lose? I did several matches today with those, in fact, I favoured some that gave me more BP as per their description. I got 1-2Ks while trying to chill and enjoy the matches and in the endgame chat I decided to praise everybody.
I was changing between killers and decided to follow the same pattern and because of this the upcoming 2-3 matches I was able to win due to the lowered MMR.
What region / timezone are you in? I'm Europe GMT+1.

High mmr killers lobby shop too much. It messes up matchmaking really bad and distributes high mmr survivors down the ladder to weaker casual killers completely ruining their experience. BHVR should just remove lobby shopping either by locking everyone in lobby and penalizing for dodging or by hiding survivors, items, prestiges, profiles from killers

The latter would work. They wouldn't hide items though because then killers wouldn't get Lightborn or Franklin's value, but just show survivors in their base cosmetics, and hide prestige and profiles until endgame. That would probably do enough to prevent lower MMR killers and survivors from winding up as backfill on these sorts of lobbies.

Probabaly because the mmr range is so small that there's only 2 buckets. People who just installed, and then everyone else.

MMR doesn't exist, you are either facing survivor below the cap or above and the matchmaking will give you the most accurate it has.
If you go against goo survivors all the time than either pick a better killer or pick a better time. For me, playing killer vs decent survivorsr is impossible before 12:00 am.

Maybe because there aren’t enough active experienced Killers to take on these Survivors and grabbing weaker Killers to fill up the lobby is just a way of covering that up.

The fact that killers can still examine everyone's profile before the match begins makes no sense at all.

The conspiracy theorist side of me says it’s intentional so the SWFs can have fun and keep playing games while making funny videos for their followers.
The rational side of me says there’s just not enough high skilled players who play killer, probably because they got tired of the stress and sweating. Therefore, you get thrown to the wolves.
take your pick.

I don't get why killer players always act like the world is out to get them.
You could just not be good at the game. Also mmr and the lobby system is heavily skewed towards killers considering you get all the information in the world.

That would do more harm to the game than anything. People who "lobby shop" are still people consistently wanting to play the game. Forcing them to play games is a quick way to just burn them out faster than normal to the point they aren't going to play at all or take lengthy breaks which means matchmaking will still be just as poor.
I'm like in upper mid MMR most likely and tend to get paired up with groups who are usually trying to speedrun trials. So I'm usually only playing 2-5 games before I hop off from stress. I don't really care about prestiges, but if I see a lobby with toolboxes I'm out. It's such a pain to do these day since that seems to be all I'm getting so I'm usually only playing 1-3 games before going to do something else.
That's the problem with making this game as simple as it is, optimization and level balancing actually makes this sort of game not fun to play. There is no incentive to get better or play strong opponents cause the game is just worse the better you get at it.

You’ve discovered what many of us have known for a long time. The matchmaking system simply does not work, especially if you’re playing at peak times when there is a huge deficit of killer players. After about 30 seconds the system will give up and just throw you in with the next survivor group in line, regardless of how high their MMR is compared to yours.

I think a lot of killers would stop playing if they couldn't dodge anymore, which would result in longer wait times. Otherwise I'd agree with u.

It kind of sounds like you just need to get better at the video game. Unless your at the extreme end of the skill level, the matchmaking works more often than it doesn't.
We also live in a world of hyperbole where people will have good matches nine games in a row and then get matched with someone way out of their league in the tenth, and that tenth game is the only thing that influences their opinion.

Even if facing off against a good team why give up?
You can farm up BP's at the very least.

Once you rise above a certain MMR level you gain 'MMR Protection' which halves the rate you can lose MMR, basically to stop you deliberatly losing to tank your MMR. This makes it take much longer to actually fall to an easier level.

Totally and that one thing killers can abuse more than survivor , oh they got 4 flash lights I need lightborn, a mix of items on each survivor=franklins. If perks are to be a gamble killers should not be able to know what they going against till the match which evil dead does this. It also would lesson us streamers from being sniped by cheaters, glad as I am to have them give us playstation back Anonymous mode, I do meet nice people at times and hate when sometimes I feel force to turn it on until at least I hit red 1 where I do not care that point if tunnel/camped.
