Hux is fun! It may not be instantly evident to everyone who plays it, but once it's power clicks, it becomes an oppressive chase monster with nice built-in info and slowdown. It's also a lovely design. And it talks. I don't know how powerful it is compared to the rest of the lineup, but those who want a top-tier teleport killer could always just play Nurse.
The Dvarka map... it has so much nice detail nobody will notice during a trial. Some people poured a lot of love into all the little tidbits. It must be a thankless job - dbd players hate half of the maps in general, and we definitely hate new ones we've yet to get familiar with. Yet... we're in SPAAAAACE! How cool is that?
And Gabriel... well, hope some survivor player says some nice things about him. I like his visibility jacket and his screams.
So... what else to like about the new chapter?

I will be honest, i did not see any good Singularity today except one.
All of them played with very basic and readable way. But the one who played so good 4K'ed us at 3 gens.
This guy did not chase anyone to down. He just played with hit & run. He was keep controlling map and his pressure was pretty strong.
Maybe i felt like that because this guy was playing him with different way, idk. But i believe people need to give more time to this killer before judge his power.

To be honest, I was not a good Singularity player either for the largest part of the day. Probably still isn't, but at least baby-survivors aren't running circles around me anymore. More importantly, I figured out how to apply it's power to my playstyle. Trials instantly became joyful - regardless of their outcome. I may even git gud with him in the future, but not regretting the purchase anymore (like I did in my first 4-5 Hux matches) is good enough.

It's inspiring to hear some can even make the control-approach work. Maybe I'll also get there once I get used to monitoring the entire map without getting disoriented. In the meantime, Hux is Clown MkII. Good enough for me.

My issue with Singularity is EMPs, it feels way to easy to get your hand on them in my opinion.
Just had a match where a guy kept EMPing my stuff and tbagging/emoting all the time, in chase, they would follow along with EMPs or have a teammate follow along, so it felt like I had no power. The guy DDOSed me because I mindgamed them and hit them through shack window when they were hugging the outer wall of shack.
Post-game I learned that he was partied up with two cheaters, who had perma auras on me the entire time. Their accounts also said "I dont care if I get banned, Ill be back with another account" with a lot of comments on their accounts complaining about cheating.
Hux is fun, when you can get his power to work, but it can be difficult since most teams just spam EMPs as much as possible. At times you can feel powerless, while others, you feel unstoppable. I think BHVR needs to work on evening out his kit a bit.

Frankly, I had my fun. 👽️ Although he is super hard to control for me and I doubt I will play him very often (he is beyond my skills, like Blight and Oni, which I couldnt control either)
I'll copy from another post what I'd adjust:
- show which camera deactivated (for example in yellow; now it is yellow only after you accessed it)
- do something with disorientation (like very vast traversal toward it, dredge style, but very fast, 0.5 -1 second long , ideally with swerve into position)
- observation should be Myers-style, if you see part of survivor, you gain infection just slower; now it's completely random, you could see 2/3 of survivor and nothing happens
P.S.
Visuals of Hux and Map is outstanding. What BHVR can do, that's the visual design and models, hands down. I wish I live to the day when DbD moves to UE5.1

I haven't really seen much Singularity but I think this is an engaging killer. I think the playerbase has become chase obsessed after Wesker's release. I'm sure when people start getting better at him it can lead to some fun matches.

After some solid buffs he could be a really god killer, but he's kinda trash right now.

EMPs need to be nerfed into the ground. Once I can actually use or chain my power, then it'll actually be fun to try out and play with.

I'm having a lot of fun with this one, even more than I had with the Knight. I love the amount of information I get from pods. Yesterday I even managed to grab someone straight off exit switch after teleporting.

First time in a while a chapter has me loving both playing as and against the new killer. As for the map, it feels really congested at the middle in a good way, much less clutter than the PTB. Hux has been a lot of fun for being constantly in action with every survivor, its fun! I give it a 7/10

Hux is an m1 killer as long EMP exist in this state, if they are changed who knows but, right now, is F tier killer
The map is horrible, maybe looks cool but has the strongest main building in the game, way to few lockers, too many obstacles and issues
The new survivor has 2 OP perks
SO yeah..another terrible chapter

The killer has a power with a bit of a learning curve but, once understood, is strongly effective. The EMPs can knock them down, but the orbs can be easily replaced. The overclock is very effective and the Mori is great with improved voices. The killer is strong and I certainly do not believe people have mastered it in less than 24 hours to come up with the idea it's weak.
The map was very cluttered in the PTB, but it appears to have been streamlined in the release. There are more open areas. The colouring is a little disorientating but overall the map feels fine to me. Love the design and glad to see less clutter.
Gabriel has some strong perks. I'm undecided whether they're too much or not, although I like the fact that they tried to get some stronger perks out. However, I feel perks need to be less overpowered. "Made for This" is 2 perks in one. "Troubleshooter" also has 2 effects (albeit undoubtedly weaker). I feel this is the weak point in the chapter because there's no need to make perks have 2 effects.
Overall, this chapter is a vast improvement over Skull Merchant. Definitely going in the right direction.

The killer is way too hard for what they do. I like their overall gimmick but really you need to set up a web of biopods, then constantly harass survivors with them to get their EMPs out of they way (at least for a bit), patrol gens, chase, shoot them with your balls of goo, teleport to them, destroy pallets, keep track of the survivors' movements, hook them, do your taxes....
Like, you can only do so many things at once before something has to give. It would go a long way, if Singularity wasn't that demanding.
