No full skins for the Singularity dbd anniversary this year?
whoa, not to say as a pattern from last year with dredge. or billy hate.
But, the Singularity, anniversary killer get only mask, not a full set is kinda underwhelming.
And we got Feng again. Not for Soma tho, a new survivor!

Because when they did this last year for Dredge and Haddie, people complained about this. People even said Haddie is not popular because her costume is used for anniversary event lol. If it was on store, more people would play her!
So i think it's more safe to give anniversary costumes to old characters.

...and Feng and Ghostface's outfits are time-limited, will be removed once the event ends.

They said new characters will get a rift after release, so the next rift that releases at midchapter will have cosmetics for them - both a new cosmetic and a recolor of that cosmetic. Makes sense to give anniversary cosmetic to characters that (hopefully) won't also be getting cosmetic in upcoming rift

yeah, that basically means we'd get more lore friendly skins for the characters instead of a skin with a generic theme. I'm really hoping tome skin would be great

While having those cosmetics around forever would be better for sure, it is honestly almost no different from, say, every other anniversary related cosmetic we've had since the 4 year anniversary, all of the cosmetics from since then being time limited to their respective anniversary events, in fact we always got different cosmetics for each anniversary while the cosmetics from the year before never returned, even full outfits like Haddie & Dredge from last year, only real difference here is that this one cost money while the other is free.
At least the anniversary crowns from year 4 & 5 and the masks from last year returns this year, also the feng & ghostface will return next year guaranteed like every event cosmetic going forward.

Video Horror Society just shut down because of practices like this. There is no one clever enough to take a lesson from its failure.

You could have stopped writing after "would be better for sure", there is no legitimate defence for using a Fear of missing Out tactic. It is only a detriment to everyone, full stop. And we deserve better than this.

I just don't see any difference between this and the previous anniversary cosmetics for 3 years in a row now other than a price tag and that these outfits at least returns next year compared to older cosmetics.
Overall i genuinely do not care about exclusive cosmetics anymore, not since they made the Howling Ground & Summer BBQ event cosmetics free for everyone even though there was people who actually played to earn those cosmetics originally.
