So, about Borgo...
What was the though process of making an already notorious survivor sided map even stronger for them?
For whatever reason, the walls of the obstacles in the map were raised, and just tall enough that killers cant look over them anymore, but survivor still can, like why?

Try playing against a trickster on a low loop and then come back here

Now I know Borgo has a lot of pallets but I don't really think anybody likes playing on that map, apart from normal jungle gyms, the vast majority of filler tiles feel awful to play, with many filler tiles often spawning without any pallet or window at all. And unless you're running WoO, you don't know that until you actually go over to the tile in question.
One complaint that many people had was the stealth killers really suffered on this map, due to it being so open, with very few LoS blockers, which is why the change happened I'd assume. But obviously this came with the downside that killers like Huntress or Trickster are now less viable on Borgo.
Which is also why this complaint doesn't really have much weight behind it, the devs were obviously in a position where they had to choose between keeping the map good for ranged killers, or making the map better for stealth killers, no matter what they pick, one group of killers is going to be put at a disadvantage.
I also really don't understand this is being construed as a survivor-sided change, more LoS blockers is generally a worse thing for survivor seeing as a key part of play is positioning yourself well and making as much distance from the killer as early in chase as possible, LoS blockers make both of these much more difficult to accomplish.

Its survivor sided due to its size, its one of the larger maps in the game, also having tons of pallets, and due to the clutter, killers like Billy, Bubba, Wesker, etc suffer greatly on it.
Making the walls taller might help stealth killers, but it hurt just about any other killer in the process, specially since they did nothing to compensate the change, like making the map smaller, or at least make some gabs in the walls.

This was a good idea. Playing against Trickster was a pain. And killers, in general, can spot you from a distance as obstacles are not tall, at all.
If only the size was slightly modified to give an advantage to the killers... this update was a necessity.

Killers had it worse with being spotted, and it hardly mattered for survivors due to the abundance of pallets in the map, now those loops are ven stronger since survivors can mindgame for free, they need to tweak the walls again, and the map in general

Appreciate the quote but my opinion remains the same based on the many matches I had on Borgo.

yeah slinger and huntress was actually solid on this big map cause most of the loops had low walls. I understand this buff will make approaching killers a bit more difficult to see immediately which is good but damn the range killer will have to suffer.
