Do You Think Gens are Fair After the Last Meta Changes?
Pop is back to meta, good change honestly.
PR is still meta perk from day one to today.
Corrupt is back to meta as well, i think after gen-kick perks nerfed more people started use it again.
Deadlock, DMS, Jorge, Eruption are here and there.
So what do you think about current anti-gen meta? Do you think they are strong enough to buy time or gens are so fast?

Bad killers who can't pressure at all will never think gens are fair until completing one solo takes at least 3 minutes

I honestly don't notice Pop doing anything when I use it, better off with CoB and OC. PR hits hard and I like it when I play killer hate it as surv lol.
Deadlock is nice, DMS could be better, Eruption is niche, and Jolt is nice if you get fast downs.

fair / balanced is hard to gauge. But I think gens are more fair now than they were around this time last year and anytime in between then and now.
I still think the "spaghetti gens" have to go: the maximum and minimum times it takes to complete a gen have to be even closer together than they are now.

I think regression is in a good place right now. Doesn’t feel oppressive but still impactful. I hope we don’t get anymore regression perks for awhile.
I personally think gen speed is alright currently. Some things could be tweaked like BNP and Prove Thyself, but for the most part it’s fine.

I still think toolboxes could be tweaked better, not as major as medkits were and BNP definitely.
Gen progression is still kind of crazy, while gen regression seems to be at a decent spot. I think the worst cases of gen progression needs to be tuned down so that base progression can be raised slightly.

Prove Thyself and Toolboxes need to be nerfed then the Gen Speed would fine
Since the best Gen Regression Perks got nerfed its really hard to defend Gens when Survivors use Prove Thyself and Toolboxes

I have never seen eruption do something useful after its nerf (incredibly deserved btw).
It became the likes of oppression were you can say the perk exists and not much more.

Pop is still bad
Old pop value in charges = .25 * 80 = 20 charges removed.
What % does the gen need to be at to equal old pop value in charges removed?
We have to include the base 2.5 % on kick as well to be fair so.
Kick val = .025 * 90 = 2.25 charges
2.25 + .3n = 20
.3n = 17.75
n = 59 charges
Well what Is 59 charges of a 90 charge gen?
59/90 = ~65% of the gen needs to be done just to be equal to old pop, anything lower drops off heavily and even a "best case" world of hitting the gen at 89/90 charges would net you 26.7 charges from the kick itself plus the standard 2.25 for a grand total of ~29ish charges.
Assuming my math is right, when the gen is below 65% you get worse to significantly worse results and in a best case scenario you get an extra 9 seconds. It's still awful compared to it's old state of a flat 20 charge removal regardless of gen progress

I would say the current state of gen regression is bad. From my experience if you are running only one gen defense perk survivors end up not having to heal with adren and push through the gens since you can't really stop the gens without stacking slowdown. Survivors can play safe and pre-throw pallets and basically nullify slowdown. On the other hand if you are stacking meta slowdown then that isn't the case. The fact that you adding slowdown amplifies the other slowdown you are already running is bad game design imo.

They are correct though.
You NEED to have good Killer gameplay in order to get value out of your regression perks.
If you can't play decent macro, Corrupt isn't going to help. If you don't have good gamesense, PR isn't going to be that good. If you can't get consistent hooks, PGTW isn't going to be good either.
Unlike our previous meta, where you could get value by just sitting next to a gen and watching it regress, which certainly shows a lot of skill.

I personally feel like something changed recently and they're going really fast now.
Either people are more keen on doing gens than before or killers just gave up on defending them.
Even while soloqueueing and getting bad teams, I used to die at 3-4 gens a lot, now every game at worst ends at 2-1 gens and I am getting a lot more 2-4 escape almost every match.

Gen times seem fine on my end, but mainly because all of the survivors I have been facing in the past couple weeks except 1 team were not particularly great. I think matchmaking is a bigger issue

Gens haven’t been fair ever in the history of the game

I've actually stopped using regression perks because they are boring, gens are pretty fast but that's just nature of how this game works.
on the other hand basekit kicking buffs were actually big.
even with 300% regressions of overcharge/call of brine, if you sit next to the gen survivors will progress other gens at 1200% speed total (even if we assume camping).
"getting value" much lmao.

Toolboxes should be changed along with PT, Resilience and maybe Hyperfocus. I've always felt that a 30-60 seconds mini corrupt should be basekit too so gens aren't popping in the time it takes to walk across the map.

The only significant change they have made recently is making it so you cant infinitely stall gens anymore. Gen kick meta nerf made the three gen strategy much more difficult to pull off against a semi competent survivor team. I still lose quite a few games to skilled killers but I very rarely lose to bad killers anymore. That was by far the most frustrating thing about the gen kick meta. It enabled any terrible killer to win any game just by endlessly kicking gens. Now they have to actually chase. The game is much more fair than it was since it doesn’t reward free wins to below average killer players anymore.
