Smash Hit is likely the least used exhaustion perk due to its nature of requiring not only a pallet, but also a stun with it (really hard to pull off against some killers). In order to make it more attractive I thought of some suggestions to make this perk more attractive to compete with other more common exhaustion perks. Not all of them would need to me implemented together.

  1. Highlight the aura of the closest pallet.
  2. Work with all stuns (it of course would not work with Head On, since Head On gives exhaustion, so it would not be abusable). This would make it combo with Decisive Strike to make also this perk more reliable since most survivors gave up on this perk after its last nerf and it didn’t become much of a threat to most killers. Also Flashlight/Flashbangs saves.

I love this perk and its concept, but its low consistency doesn’t allow it to compete against other exhaustion perks. Just want the more options the better for builds and variety to help fight stale metas :)

    If they changed it to work with every possible stun, I think it would have SOME usage even if no pallet-highlighting was implemented. Sounds like a good way to bring it at least closer to balanced landing (it would be still much worse then say lithe or sprint burst)

    I wanted to give it some special effect like balanced landing has (no sound when falling). Yes it would still be not as used as sprint burst or lithe, but it would make it more interesting for some builds and its synergy with other perks since its use is very limited. Hope to see some love for this perk soon!
