Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game?
An error that you're getting because your data files are corrupt, isn't a 'bug' in the general sense. There's nothing BHVR can do about it other than tell you to reinstall the game.

so I yesterday did post in bug reports, and they closed it as "not a bug", I bet you dont even read the whole text. This happens without me doing anything and happened again so yeah, my game and at least 2 other people that wrote under linked youtube channel also have it. I cant fckin believe it that you closed that ticket, since some people might not actually be able to play the game. I have no words and this one you will probably close too, I wonder for what, maybe for that one curse above. Here is what I said in previous bug report and say at least something, because its not "not a bug".
also it happens to people at epic games
After patch 7.0.1 I got "Serialization Error: Action Needed. Corrupt data found, please verify your installation." (It happens after everyone get ready in the match lobby.) so I did the verification, ran the game and I was having Issues with connecting to the host, I literaly couldnt play, so I restarted the game, nothing. Restarted game second time, nothing (still host disconnected error), after third restart of the game I could play, but I didnt play much. Now like 7 hours later Im back into the game, played like 6 matches already, and out of nowhere my game crashed again with "Serialization Error". fix game rip

This doesn’t sound like a bug and moreso something you need a different kind of support for. Lemme see if I can find you a link.

you can file a ticket under technical problems, or whatever you think is going on.

If I play game for a 1.5 of year and now after patch I get problems, then yes its a bug because they didnt do something right
and I can understand they can make game unplayable with just changing soundtrack for one killer because thats what story of behaviour taught me. I can recall wrong patch out of nowhere at epic games, corrupted shops at epic games, mouse problems at ps4's and many more, and yet they cancel me, when they dont know how to continue development of that chaos game

Or through sheer coincidence there was data loss in the download for an update that corrupted a core file that caused this issue and the solution is to re-download it.
Turn it off and on again is quite literally a core troubleshooting method. It's not just a meme.

The existence of bugs in DBD is like a philosophy. Because I don't know what's a bug and what's by design.
Unexplained bugs and bugs that cannot be fixed are left unaddressed and eventually become specifications.

OP is interested in the solution not whether or not the right definition is used. Be it a glitch, bug or error he (as a customer) requires customer service. If mods confirm reinstalling the game can be a solution then that is the feedback required here.

Hello! the same error is happening to me since 7.0.0… the thing is that it happens out of nowhere, like I can play 4 games in a row and then when loading the next game it crashes. I don’t know what to do, I have verified the game’s data files and reinstalled the game as well.

edit: I had idea that everything I experienced in last 24hours with people we cannot talk about and overall game state, cannot be even described by video bellow
