Let us choose our server - Stop sending players to any server available
Every day, at specific times, the server for your specific region simply disappears for a few minutes (probably amazon reboot / maintenance) and everyone is thrown in the closest server.
Goes without saying that if the server designed for your region isn't available, the nearest one will most likely give you high ping.
DBD barely functions with low ping so anything higher than 120ms is almost unplayable. The input lag is annoying, the hit registration becomes abysmal. Even your interactions will break and cause bugs such as your camera being stuck in the killer after he hooks you (spectating from inside the game).
None of this is fun. Let us choose our server and force our connection to it. If the server is temporarily off, so be it but don't send people to 1 or 2 incredibly unenjoyable experience in the wrong server.
This also ruins the game for people that aren't suffering from the lack of server and are playing in their actual server. They will face a high ping killer that had no control over being put in the wrong server.

Well at least it’s not permanent. I’ve been playing this game for 5 years and the lowest ping I had was 110 while having 140+ regularly because the middle east doesn’t seem to be relevant for the devs.

Only DBD punishes you for being distracted while sitting on queue (which aren't short).

I have 20-30 ping in other games and 80-100 ping on dbd, in NAE, it's ridiculous.

Still happening:
I literally just AFK when this happens. The input lag and incorrect interactions due to ping are unbearable for both roles.

Again but as survivor now. 220ms isn't very fun to play.

I just wish they'd pay for a server with a better tick rate lmao
