Are you suppose to lose collision with a survivor that you have just rescued?

I rescued a survivor right as the killer came up to me. It was a Hillbilly and I was about to be instadowned. I used the collision loss to move forward and through the rescued survivor to let them bodyblock for me.

Is this a valid tech or did I abuse an exploit?

No, it's not exploitation, it's been in the game for a very long time
