Entitled players are ruining this game

So this player is not bringing a Terrormisu offering? *Quits at loading screen*. x killer / survivor is not playing nice or is friendly? Survivor self Sacrificed at 1 hook stage, dc or slug, camp, wait 5 gens and killer open exit gate.

The majority of it is people who don’t have a perspective on both sides of the spectrum, with that being said this event really does show people their true colors but even more often prior to the event cause of the player spike.

There was a change on Day 1. Saw people having more chill.

Then everything went back to normal. You see people use terrormisu and event invitations and that's it. Tunneling, slugging and camping are still there. Or even DC-ing if it is a Pres 100 Meg.

In other news, water is wet.

It isn't just this event, you can scroll back through the forum and it's the same for every event, over and over again. Some even behave this way regardless of there being an event. The amount of times I've seen killers face-camp/hard-tunel fromt he start when Blood Party Streamers offering has been burned, is the same as with an event. Same for survivors DC-ing the moment they load into a map.

As for people DC-ing on the loading screen might have to the with the game being bugged as hell ATM, as per usual. Last night, every time my friends and I loaded into a lobby, we'd immediately be kicked back with an error message popping up. same with going to store/selecting some of the archive challenges, after a couple of attempts we just played something else that isn't buggy AF 🤷

Sounds like the news from every other event from the last 3 years.

It was not this event that showed those colours; it was always there. There have been and always will continue to be wankers with selfish and spoilt motivations. Some of them even think people are entitled because they're looked down upon because they choose those actions!

The best thing to do is make a note of all the times you do not have those scenarios vs. those that do. With some fortune, it may help to bring into perspective those wasters are the minority.

The beginning of events is always rough but it calms down pretty quickly tbh.

My games have basically returned to normal if you ignore the surprising amount of Bubbas trying to make the most of insidious before the anti-camping mechanic is implemented.

It's not a spectrum. There's a clear difference between killer and survivor

I do wish people would stop jumping to 2nd hook state early. I’ve been playing to 2 hook most of the time and their decision only hurts themselves since I can barely remember which survivor was left hanging by their teammates for too long much less someone who chose to do it themselves.

I don't understand why killers want to bring Black Wards or Petrified Oaks... Same goes for survivors wanting to bring low BP offerings and White Wards.

One singular Terrormisu costs 3k BP, and it's not a personal offering. Where's the logic in not bringing it, especially during the event?

Now if we could do something about those greedy rats with Survivor Pudding/Escape Cakes....

Unless I'm running endgame perks I always open the gates when 5 gens are done.

Yea I don’t understand it either. I’ve burned one every single match and still have HUNDREDS of them.

I was still working on prestiging a lot of my newer characters when the event started and I didn’t even think to save BP to get cakes for all the others. Now I have some with 20+ and others with none. I’m trying to balance it out so my others have some to play but honestly… should I have to? If I wanted to save them and not use them literally every match that’s my decision to make. And when I play killer I don’t use any offering because I never started leveling them so I never have any to burn. Why are people so entitled to think they should be able to choose if and what offering another player brings just because it’s the anniversary?

Do what you want, but then don’t complain when killers play scummy, or people DC loading in, or you even get sandbagged in game for not bringing one.

The vast majority of players are all bringing one every match, so yea, it’s understandable to be annoyed when a minority of people don’t bring one or bring a cake/pudding in hopes to save their event cakes and mooch off the others.

Everyone has there own idea of fun though.

If it's in the rules what does it matter? Some people like playing with their friends, and some like tunneling and camping

Yeah I had a match earlier where everyone brought a Tiramisu but the killer, they brought the green wreath. Someone left in loading screen and I don't blame them.

Just bring a Tiramisu and problem solved.

Only entitled behaviour I noticed is using map offering instead of cake. Disgusting indeed

Lol had my first experience with this earlier. Only me and a Claudette bought a terrormisu and the Claudette DC'd during load in. Not enough Terrormisu to be worth playing I guess.

I did not bring it once and a survivor body blocked me at the gate so the killer would kill me. I did most of the objectives too.

Also , is reporting useless without video evidence ? Is the report form just cosmetic without it ?

MFW im just trying to play the game. I do not have to partake in the event and do not care what others say or think about me doing so.

I won't play a game either where someone benefits from the rest of our cakes and brings nothing or a sweaty item like a wreath. My time is worth more than that.

I find the games where they purposely don't bring it to be extremely toxic, so I'd rather avoid that.

I had a killer today that didn’t use any offerings, and slugged us at 5 gens. All four survivors used a terrormisu. Do you think that’s a justifiable thing to do? I wish I could say that was the first time it happened since the event started.

Events have always brought the worst out in people. That said the blame is mostly on BHVR for not being able to actually do anything about all the unfun things that have been in the game for years

the blame is on BHVR for not actually doing anything about it. They absolutely are able to do something about it they just won’t. Whether out of laziness or whether they just don’t care, who knows? Or maybe this is the way they want their game to be a toxic, miserable dumpster fire, and therefore they don’t care. As long as people continue to be masochists who keep coming back no matter how terrible it is, they’re getting their money so they have no incentive to give a ######### .

Yes, I will DC if I am the only one that bought an event offering as Killer while the Survivors bought Macmillan basement offering with Shroud

I'm not playing in a match where the killer brings a mori or a black ward. Get over it. Same goes if the survivors bring a map offering. You're wasting my time by not bringing a BP offering during an event that happens literally 3 weeks out of an entire year.

I mostly just think they're too inept to know how to fix most of the problems in this game in a way that actually fixes the problems. Like map design has only gotten significantly worse over the years and most of the maps I like were year 1 maps. But thats why I dont really play anymore in hopes theyll fire some idiots at the top and stop firing and rehiring devs and losing all their experience and make a new mode finally. I still have some hope that this game will go in a direction that makes me actually want to play
