Is Wesker worth buying to break a streak?
I haven't spent money on DBD since the NFT incident. For the most part, I've been more than happy with this decision. If an original killer or survivor comes out, I'll just buy them with shards. When Sadako came out with Yoichi, not only was I not playing DBD but I had no interest in either of them due to the strength of them and their perks (More so Yoichi's perks rather than Sadako's).
However, Wesker seems quite fun to play according to others, as do Ada's and Rebecca's perks. With the discount going on right now, for €10 I could buy the current rift, and the whole Resident Evil chapter. However, is it worth breaking the streak of me not spending money on the game over? I'm feeling mixed on it rn and I want some persuading from either side.

Well thankfully that NFT situation was resolved and BHVR even cut ties with the CryptTV license because they were associated with NFTs. I think buying Wesker is definitely worth it, he’s a lot of fun.

Wesker is one of the best Killers in the game, yes. Go for it!
Really? Do you have any source? I totaly missed it, I thought they don't care and the skins are still in the game and store.

Oh wow, I never knew they cut ties with Crypt but that definitely restores some faith in BHVR for me. Thanks for telling me this Gann ^^

Right now would be a good time to get any licensed characters you want since they're all on sale... just saying...

Yeh I decided to buy him alongside Rebecca and Ada...I think the sale was the push factor to me buying them and the current rift :)

I can't be ######### finding a source, but I can tell you DbD weren't really in with the NFT thing, it was the pinhead license holders that wanted it, and with the absolute backlash BHVR got they managed to convince them to shut it down. Then, as you know, the crypt tv thing

What is NFT?

nft stands for Non-Fungible token. Essentially buying something without actually owning it. It's sorta like stocks, except the item basically holds no actual value and its extremely damaging to the environment.
The best example I used to always give was this;
Imagine you see a picture of a frog online and you love it. Infact, you love it so much you want to own the picture. Not the actual frog, but the picture. So you buy the picture in the form of the token, which goes into a server. But you're not the only one who owns it. Other people can also buy that frog picture too. How much is it worth and why? No rhyme or reason.
