I saw the stream, and I have one question...
@not_Queen What happens if a survivor chooses not to cure themselves of the sickness? I didn't catch what the drawback was.

My thought as well. They didn't really go very in depth on her ability.

I'm guessing you are constantly sick and make noise. I wonder if Calm Spirit works against it.
2 -
Yeah, me too. And how the killer can get stronger over time?
0 -
Yeah. This killer might be really OP if the drawback is big or just another Legion.

It was weird how they didn't take time to answer any questions.

Yeah, we have seen what is going to happen but we don't know what it will actually do.
What do you guys think about the new perks. Honestly, I love the new locker perk, but I can't speak for the rest of the perks.

To give you enough information, so that you can take it and run with it. They still want you to be surprised when the PTB is released.

I was also wondering this - if they choose not to cleanse will it kill them eventually? I would assume so with it being a "plague".

Killer's first 2 perks are mediocre at best, and her third perk (blocking 3 gens for X time at the start of the match) is gonna be trash, I think.
Syrvivor's perk with healing sounds kinda broken, the scratchmark perk seems weak and the locker one is OK I think.

The killer ones looked pretty lackluster to me. That early gen stalling one would have to last way, way longer than the time they mentioned for that to be worth a slot.

The gen and slugging ones sound pretty good.
Depends on how long those 3 gens are disabled. If its a minute or 2 where the 3 furthest gens can't be worked on then wow that'll be good

I'm more interested about this upgraded Corrupted pruge. She may be as strong as nurse when she has long range damaging vomit while having normal killer speed.
I'm super hyped for her. Everything about this chapter seems amazing.
Worst part will be crying survivors about how OP she is. I'm betting that this time crying will be really bad since she seems really fun to play while beiing very strong.

It does need to have a drawback that's stronger than revealing your location, to make survivors want to cleanse themselves.

The block the 3 furthest away generators seems like something that could be a meta perk depending on how long it lasts. Everything else seems kind of like junk.

The transfering TR to the obsession is cute, but depends on how long and SWF won't give a #########.
There is no way the gen blocking perk is going to be long enough to matter. It's probably going to be like 30 seconds max, just so you don't have to check a couple gens at the beginning of the game and then play a perk down for the rest of the match. It needs to be something meaningful like 80 seconds.
1 -
Exactly. Altruistic survivors won't bother cleansing if it doesn't have a significant drawback.
2 -
Interesting, I think that the locker perk creates a lot of mindgames and saves survivors' asses many times, I thought that was the best perk for survivors.
I think her third perk could be really good if they increase the time, I am not really interested in the first 2 ones though.
IKR? I hope they increase the time and it actually does something because it does look promising and having an early pressure. I really am interested in that perk.
Yeah I hope it is something like 1 or 2 minute. If it is 10 seconds I am gonna cry lol

Dark devotion is something I feel would be cool in specialized builds but otherwise is just meh.
I would imagine that it might be good on the legion with speed addons.
Smack someone with frenzy, smack the obsession, go after the first target with M1 now that you have no terror radius and can be sneaky about it. The obsession now has to keep running since they hear the terror radius and might think they are still being chased.

I'm guessing they will suffer some kind of penalty. This killer seems like a game slower, and I think they said (not 100% sure) that the survivors become more sick over time if they don't cleanse.
0 -
The penalty needs to be something useful, though. Something actively damaging, like an RBT (when it triggers, that is), as opposed to something annoying, like Madness.

I'm thinking a minute and a half for the gen blocking perk to at least reach the potential of MAYBE being okayish. 2 minutes we might have some meta here. Less than 1 minute and that's just trash.

I like the new content and all, but was really hoping we would get the freddy rework by now.
1 -
Maybe being infected will have a similar action speed as Freddy's dreamworld.
0 -
Sure would be cool if they add mori's to Plague's add-ons like myers.
The add-on potential here is nuts. All the effects sickness could cause...

Since the survivors vomit maybe they did something similar to the Resident Evil 2 remake. If you get poisoned in RE2 you will cough and lose maybe 50% movement speed and you won't be able to interact with anything for a few seconds. The sicker you get the more often it happens.
I hope it's not this though. I hope it's actually fun to play against as well and not just something super annoying like doc's madness.

There is some kind of SAW RB timer on survivors. This timer stops when survs hooked.
Look close at 24:10

It would make sense if they were killed by the infection similar to the Pig's RBT.
0 -
I saw this too! Possible to die from the sickness if you get sick enough??
0 -
I doubt it will kill survivors since that is waht pig does. It would be weird to have The plague having the same power which would be unlimited unlike pig's.
My guess is that at max sickness survivors will be always slow valting windows and pallets. That would be quite on par with long range vomit damaging killer.

I hope it gives them a reduced repairing speed, otherwise they wont do anything to cure themselves
