Gold Emblems should not be a "community" challenge
Right now the community challenge is looking like it won't be completed unless the numbers are toned down thanks to the gold emblem requirement.
A community challenge should be something that BOTH sides of the community can work towards to bring the together, however the emblem system actively encourages both sides to work against eachother. The Unbroken/Devout are literally both sides needing the opposite to complete - survivors have to escape while killers have to kill/sacrifice. In order for the killer to contribute their 3 Devout gold emblems to the community challenge there are 9-12 survivors that end up contributing 0 Unbroken gold emblems. That's a TERRIBLE community challenge. Not only does it not have the community working together to complete but it just makes the event more sweaty and less fun.
The EVENT community challenges should be something like collect invitation, activate any invitation in chase, complete event gens, hook survivors on event hooks, etc. Leave challenges like collecting emblems to the regular tomes NOT event tomes, especially not COMMUNITY challenges.

In my opinion, this is the perfect example of how unbalanced the emblems are, compared survivor vs. killer. Maybe the devs take this as a hint to change something in the point system.
It's really confusing that a killer still can get way more points than a survivor, even if he didn't kill a single one. Sure, chasing brings a lot of points, but compared... meh.
I'd love to see a "teamplay"-emblem for survivors. They earn points when they are doing something at the same time - being chased when someone is on a gen, cleansing a totem while others are healing someone... something like that! It would encourage more ppl in solo-q to actually participate as a team and not wait out the other last team-member, so they can get the hatch... but that's another story - but I think the current emblem-system need a rework...

They lowered the requirements.
The first one just finished.
Already did one for the second one.
Chasing Emblems are much easier to do.

They already toned down the numbers (even though they really didnt need to lol)
But I agree that's its pretty counterintuitive
