Is map repeat prevention even working?

I literally got Garden of Joy 6 times today, with no map offerings. It's really getting into me, playing killer on that map feels just miserable. I'll literally start bringing map offerings too.

It should be - no maps are being boosted as far as I know.

Keep in mind, it's only meant to guarantee you won't go to the same map twice in a row. It then tries to reduce the chance for subsequent maps until the odds go back to normal, but it's not guaranteed as per the following:

This new feature eliminates the possibility of playing the same map twice so long as a map Offering is not used. The same goes for any other players in your trial: If each person played a different map in their last match, none of those maps will be chosen. Furthermore, the chance for these maps to be chosen will also be reduced for the next few matches, steadily returning to their usual odds.

So whilst Garden of Joy -> Badham -> Garden of Joy -> The Game -> Garden of Joy -> Midwich -> Garden of Joy may make it feel like it's not working, it's still in the realms of possibility. That is a streak of bad luck though if that happened to you.

God if I got some variety would be awesome. This last matches I've been literally: Garden of Joy -> Springwood -> Garden of Joy -> Springwood -> Ormond -> Garden of Joy -> Springwood -> Garden of Joy -> Ormond.

Literally every game. But I guess it's just bad luck, it isn't new for me too lol.

Playing Spirit feels like hard mode, because it seems like the only killer I get the worse maps ever. And I started bringing anti-pallet perks, but even so, it's not enough.
