One of the reasons why people play Wesker but not Twins
Wesker has a bug that gets instantly kill-switched and fixed in some weeks. Twins proceed to get a bug that makes them unplayable in November and the bug still persists. If Twins were shown the love other killers get, they would at least not be the least-played killer in the game as they at least have a very original design.

People play wesker over twins because wesker is overwhelmingly more fun to play.

I disagree, at least personally. Out of the killers released in year 6, Wesker was the one I played the least, I just find him one of the most boring killers in the game. Regardless, my point isn't that if Twins had no bugs they would be played more than Wesker, but at least they wouldn't be the least-played killer.

I assure you that if people really like the killer, they can put up with bugs. That's why nurse has such a dedicated player base despite there being an object you literally can't blink through for no reason every other patch that you have to know about. The bugs might certainly lower twins playrate, but they CERTAINLY aren't the reason they are the least played killer.
They're just super boring lol

1. Nurse doesn't have as many bugs as Twins. At least, not as many bugs that make her unplayable in almost every patch.
2. Nurse is the strongest killer in the game, so she is gonna have a dedicated player base just because of that fact.

Twins can be incredibly strong in the right hands but unfortunately insanely underwhelming for the majority. Needs some QOL and fixes.

Is it dark chocolate? And are there raisins in the oatmeal bar? Because I’m leaning oatmeal either way.

If they made Twin's power a proper tag team mechanic and gave reason to play both charlotte and victor 50/50 or at least give a secondary power to charlotte, such as being able to toss victor or another passive that benefits her when victor is not with her, they would be more interesting.
I used to main them before circle of healing was introduced and ever since then it's been a downward spiral for them in terms of things being stacked against them. However i do agree Wesker is incredibly boring to verse and play as, i assume everyone flocks to him because he's quite simple to play and forgiving when it comes to mistakes unless you accidentally vault a window. I'm tired of seeing him constantly throughout the day, just this morning i had 7 matches against him and 3 of those were of him in a row.

Not really.
Wesker is fun to play, Twins is boring. Victor is fine tho but Charlotte is so boring.
Wesker is badass, Twins looks lame.
Wesker has amazing chase theme, Twins has meh theme.
Wesker's power rewarding him, Twins' power so clunky to use. You got survivor down with Victor. But if Charlotte is far away from survivor, other survivors can pick up survivor before you come.
There is a lot reasons to hate Twins tho. I hope they make them more fun with their rework.
