NEW PRESTIGED BLOODWEB PERKS? NEW "SPECIAL" MYSTERY BOXES & NEW ENVELOPE ITEMS? WDYT?

Okay so hear me out lol

It's difficult to get what you're looking for specifically out of a bloodweb right? Wouldn't it be cool to have a little bit more control on it? When you P3 a survivor or killer, you should unlock the ability to have a new type of mystery box in your bloodweb. This will be your benefit of prestiging up to level 3, since right now we just get bloody cosmetics and that's all. The icon could look like the regular mystery box icon we already have, but it will have a question mark on it. That way you'll know the difference between a regular one and the special mystery box.

So here's the idea: choosing a special mystery box will grant you two types of bloodwebs on your next bloodweb that you get to choose from. You get to choose if your next bloodweb will be full of a specific thing (items, addons, offerings) OR a mix of all that at a specific rarity instead. The color of the special mystery box will determine the rarity if you choose to go that route.

So for example brown offerings, items and addons are 3,000 points. So for a special mystery box for only brown items addons and offerings in the next bloodweb, it can cost 15k to open it. (3x5). For a special mystery box for yellow items, offerings and addons it can cost 20k to open it. (4,000 x 5) and so on and so forth. That way if you want to stock up on anything yellow you can pay for that and your next bloodweb will be full of that only.

If instead you want to go for specifics, then the other special mystery can be a base price of whatever you guys think is a decent price, (I have no idea) and then the next bloodweb can be full of map offerings only if you want since those are all green now anyways. It can be full of medkits of all colors, it can be full of toolbox addons, flashlight addons etc.

Same for killer too! if you want more Double Engravings for Billy, you can buy a special mystery box and choose for your next bloodweb to just be full of addons, nothing else. Or you can choose a colored special mystery box and pick yellow or green but understand that you'd get a mix of yellow and green offerings as well as addons since you're paying for the rarity not the specific thing.

This should only be accessible to people who have those characters P3 as an incentive to want to level them up. Also when someone prestiges for the first time, they should have all their perks at Tier 1 automatically. When they prestige 2 a character, they should have all their perks at Tier 2 automatically. Then for P3 they have to buy them since it'd be the last step. Or if no one wants that, at least let everyone keep all their items and addons and offerings they bought after each prestige so that all they're really doing is gaining the new perk tiers. During events especially, it sucks that you lose things like the blighted serum for killer and survivor (side note: can those come back every Halloween? They're so fun) if you have to prestige a character in the middle of it.

The idea for an "envelope item" is you can find it in a chest and it's yours to keep whether you escape or die as survivor. It's automatically "consumed" once picked up. You get extra points and then you're back to not holding anything in your hand. When you go back to your bloodweb as whatever character you found it on, that counts as one "ticket" that you can cash into your bloodweb for a free special mystery box of your choice but they can only be earned/found in public matches etc. For killer as well, maybe one special hook (it won't be highlighted to the killer like a scourge hook so that it'll be random for them just like survivor) but when they hook the survivor, they'll get notified that they earned a special mystery box of their choice for the killer they're playing right now, they'll earn extra points from that hook and the prize will be waiting for them after the match to use as well.

If you made it this far, I do have another post I added today about some tweaks to a few perks, on-screen icons and aura colors too if anyone wouldn't mind looking at that as well but I think that's the general idea I was going for with the special mystery box. Just more incentive to want to level up your characters especially if you're moving from console to pc (everyone has their own killer and survivor mains anyway) but just an idea to throw out there. 😎
