This is the worst event I've seen in my two years of dbd.

Yeah, I know. We Have have Terrormisus. We have a very fun event mechanic that actually interracts with the game. Tons of free cosmetics. Tons of bloodpoints. We are given so much stuff it's insane.
But it's impossible to have a fun game as a survivor. For some reason Killers don't want to bother playing the game and instead just Tunnel/facecamp. It seems like it's 5 times worse during the event, probably because how killers are rewarded by BPs no matter how they perform.
It's sad that so much work is put into such a big event and the end result is that the game is litterally unplayable because the anticamp machanic isn't implemented and tunneling is still the number 1 problem in this game.

Yeah, I sure dont feel the Power that Killers got were any good compared to the Power's Survivors got.
Survivors got almost instant blocking of Vaults.
Killers a palletbreaking that takes like 2 seconds to activate and most of the time, It does not activate fast enough and you use it for the Stun Power instead. Really disappointing and annoying its so hard to use for Killers.
And dont get me started on Survivors who can now summon their game resources out of nothing and hit me with it.
How on earth is that fun and fair? its not.

You must be a really terrible killer to think that the powers survivors got is anywhere close to as good as killer powers. Pallets that break on drop? Maybe just don't walk into them and get a free hit? Blocking vaults? Only good in places where the killer has to vault to continue chase, otherwise you would never vault.
Meanwhile killers can break pallets while still chasing, also the same power makes the pallet not possible to vault so you can lead survivors into it and then block it for a free hit. Or why bother hitting healthy survivors normally, just run after them until bloodlust kicks in and get a free down with expose.
I don't know man, maybe post less and play more if you're having trouble as killer in this event.

If the event does not perform well at all Skill levels then its badly designed, but I think the real reason is the Matchmaking system collapsing atm. its been pure mmr hell during the event.

I love this event. It's fun. Powers are really cool. A bit killer sided, but nothing huge.
Window vault blocking is issue practically never. Extra pallets require stuns or are actual hit for killer - meaning if u can bait it, you will most likely get hit you would otherwise not get (because pallet drop animation). Breaking pallet mid-chase is my favoutite trap to survivors. The only thing that makes no consequence is exposed - because it takes too long to be of any use. Still. To say it favors survivors is weird to me.

Aside from the blood points and getting a lot of characters to p3. Its been kind of sh$t. Every other game the killer has brought a mori and the survivors are not even bringing cakes some of the time.
The event abilities have been fun but I'm ready for them to go. It just feels kind of cheap on both sides. I do find it hilarious that killers are hyper respecting the party pallets when it's basically giving them free spirit fury.

Powers are fine and fun, except the exposed on bloodlust one. It is way too overpowered

I feel you. This is the solo experience unfortunately.
The reverse is also true. Every time I play killer, I go into matches thinking I'll play fair and nice. And every time it is a gen rushing sweaty SWF, where I have to play aggressive to prevent them from completing all generators in 5 minutes flat.
I just came out of a match where the survivors had:
- 4 adrenalines
- 3 we'll make it
- 2 prove thyselves
- selection of exhaustion perks/we'll make it combined with hope
At least they did not bring a minimum of 2 BNP, which SWFs these days usually bring.
I will bet a chunk of the killers you face are tired of the unbalancedness as well and just out there frustration on casual players.
I am not saying it is right, but Behaviour needs to step it up with solving tunneling/camping on one side and gen rushing on the other.
It has never been this bad.

Tbf I think that is just because of mmr for killers
Personally, i don't have much trouble in my matches as killer, but this is because I usually only try to go for 2 hooks each instead, so they can get BP as well

If healing wasn’t nerfed I wouldn’t be putting all my focus into getting gens done as quickly as possible so…. It’s also far easier for killers to slow gens than it is for survivors to counter sweaty killer plays.

That all depends on how good the killer is and if you’re a premade

oh no tunneling and facecamping are happening, these are occurances that are entirely the fault of the event and have never happened previously. Therefore, the event is terrible for causing such things.

I have a feeling that SBMM is the real culprit. It was never this sweaty before BHVR introduced the current matchmaking system. I can with the hand on my heart say that during my 5 years of DBD, it was never this bad before, until you reached the red ranks. That's when you started to run into the sweatiest killers and the godlike SWF survivor teams.
These days it feels like you only run into players who previously would occupy rank 1 and 2
I would wholeheartedly say that the real blame is on BHVR for giving us this matchmaking system. Granted the old one wasn't without its issues, but you would more often than not have fair matches, that was more 50/50 either way. Anyways, I am just rambling at this point. Just my two cents on the whole thing.
