Bloodlust question

I checked the wiki just in case and I don't think it gives me the answer.

If you're in chase but are in a jungle gym or anything similar and break line of sight with killer for 2-3 seconds (it said in the wiki that after 5 seconds Blood lust is lost, I am guessting if you are no longer in chase? Or lose sight of the survivor?) does Bloodlust still accumulate in that time-span or is it paused? Because the wiki says if you walk or crouch, Bloodlust is paused. But what about losing line of sight? Does it matter if you're running while losing line of sight?

As the wiki says, bloodlust is tied to being in an active chase. It takes a couple of seconds of having lost LOS for the chase to stop and thus for bloodlust to start decaying.

If the game still considers you in a chase, the killer will continue gaining bloodlust.

The wiki though also says if you walk or crouch, and I am gonna assume you are still in chase, then Bloodlust will not build up. I'm asking if LOS also prevents Bloodlust built up or not.

If you walk or crouch, you end the chase. Survivors must be running for the chase condition to apply.

Bloodlust is one of the oldest mechanics in the game and hasn't been changed all that much over the years so I guess the wiki never bothered to update that page much until now. The chase conditions also weren't as clear-cut back then as they are nowadays.

Look, LOS, crouching, walking, all is tied into how the chase works, that's the only thing that matters for bloodlust. If you're not in a chase, there's no bloodlust. The wiki page was updated since you first posted this, so I guess you should check it out again.
